i remember buying eggs, just a few weeks ago, for ~$1 per dozen. well, i went to the store last night, and they are now $3.19 a dozen.

and these are the store brand, not some fancy, organic, hippy eggs.

Yah, everything that uses corn is gonna go up. the real shit will hit the fan down in south america over tortilla prices. there will be tortilla riots before it's all said and done. corn is a large part of their diet. shucks, it's just supply and demand.

I found a local farmer that lets me come over when he has extra and get them for a buck a dozen, but he usually throws a few extra in. I bought 40 eggs 4 days ago for 3 bucks. And to think I almost bought some of my own dadgum chickens.
