Why no Jay Cutler at the Arnold?

hes convinced that sitting the Arnold out will allow him to beat COleman.
aint gonna happen imo.....he was close last year though......
Ronnies unbeatable from the back....and most of the side shots...Jay is better form the front

I agree. I think it's a good idea for Jay to sit out the shows until the O. However he still won't beat Coleman. His back is too sick for anyone at the moment. I liked Jay's Physique at the 2003 O, better than 2004. His waist is out of hand now.
The Arnold will be the best show of the year. It's up for grabs, but I have my money on Dexter. I like Chris and Gustavo, but I don't think they'll beat out Dexter. I actually would like to see Chris win it, but Dexter is always on and we all know how Chris is. If Chris does show up like he did at the Arnold last year, he will definitely take it.

I think he has been on the the tour too long. He hasn't had any time off. We have all heard of the atrophying going on in one side of his body. He needs to rest it to improve.. and as other said... I believe he wants to take a shot at the "O".
You have to love that guys legs. His abs look great for his size too.
*If I had to look like a pro today... I think I would go with Victor Martinez... I like Dexter Jackson a lot too. I just don't think Victors abs are as distented as Dexters... I thought the change from last year to this year was quite obvious... Thats me though...

Right, but Dexter is 224. Victor's frame can hold more mass than Dexter and still have the same lines. My point being if he can add 20 lbs., keep his lines and shape, and get hard, he can definitely take it. Dexter is tapped out for adding a substantial amount of size w/o sacrficing his shape. JMO though.

If I was Jay, I'd go for the Arnold and take the cash and the hummer (as he usually does) then come to the O top shape and take 2nd place (as he usually does).
I'm sorry to say this, but as long as King Ronnie is up there, Jay has no chance, politics of the sport play a HUGE part in that. So, financially speaking, I would do the Arnold and then go to the O and take the 2nd, more $$$$ that way, then I'd buy more GH and IGF and PGF2a and AS to keep getting big and wishing Ronnie retires lol

Coleman has been getting a big sloppy the last 2 Olympias. Last year his GH GUT was pretty bad.....looking pregnant......and despite what the judges said, he got beaten on some of the head to head posedowns.
If Jay comes in top notch better than last year and Coleman keeps regressing in terms of conditioning and GH gut......I see an upset possible.
Odds are those two things don't happen, but that is the scenario Jay needs to beat Ronnie. In a perfect world, Lee Priest would win the Olympia simply for being that massive at such a short stature.....he looks more impressive at his height than Ronnie does at his.

Mark my words...If ronnie goes into the Mr.O again he will NOT lose, it has NOTHING to do w/ his look anymore and EVERYTHING to do with money and politics in the sport.

He is a more marketable product, last tues i just had the chance to hit some biceps with him at my gym and we were talking. Jay is a better public speaker, more clean cut, doesnt have the "freak" factor of coleman, carries himself much more like a buissnessman, works out MUCH more like a bodybuilder than a powerlifter like coleman does.
Im really impressed with Jay's image, personality and professionalism and he is just really a cool dude. He will be the next Mr. O. in my opinion

Jay is sitting out because he knows that Dexter has his number. Dexter has beaten him before. Then in the 03 Olympia, it was plain as day that Dexter whipped him again. At the 2004 Arnold, Jay was in worse shape that Cormier and Dexter, but yet still managed to land in first. He hasn't lived that gift down.
Jay will NEVER be Mr O. Unless they only start judging physiques from the front. The man has NO back detail. There is skin hanging off his lower back and he has these soggy and watery glutes that in certain poses look like cottage cheese is attempting to bust out.

Obviously Jay carb loads too much and spills over. He holds water in his back when he does this. He tries to be as big as possible at the O, but it backfires. I prefer Jay at the 2001 and 2003 O. A much better package in my mind. I agree that Dexter has been getting robbed. The guy is awesome.

BUT, its oneflaw that Ronnie has. Jays barn door waist kills him in many poses IMO. I think someone like Vic is gonna come in around 245-255 in the next 2-3 years and force Jay into NASSERISM...

I honestly DO think Jay is gonna get desperate when Ronnie retires and someone (VIC or JOJ) steps ahead of him out of nowhere.
His waist will look very bad next to a 255lb Vic with those lines. And actually Vic might have a better back now at only 230ish.
Jay is gonna NEED a Vtaper and its just not the same with a 40" waist, but If his delts could be wider........

i think he will, Jay isnt the kind of guy that would hurt himself and die by the sword. He really is a buisnessman first, husband second and bodybuilder third. I dont think Kerry would let him try to disfigure himself like nasser did.

Jay is a very intelligent business man. He's well set up to exit the game whenever he wants. He's not depending on BB for his sole existence and has stated so several times.
What many people don't realize is that Ronnies gut is nothing more than him competing at 290+. Show me another person at that weight that doesn't have a GH gut.
