Hey I know we had a post about this subject a while back; LEGALITY OF SHOOTING AN INTRUDER.....

Question: If you had a "WARNING: ALL INTRUDERS WILL BE SHOT ON SIGHT" and you shot and killed and intruder, could you face legal ramifications?

Well if I walked up to you one day and said, "Hi I'm Hannibal" And you shot me...I would be very pissed at you

As for the legality of shooting an intruder...I'm sure he'd find some way to sue you...you can sue someone for anything. Besides I've heard of a burgular that was climbing around on someones house that he was gonna rob...well the dumb ass fell and hurt himself...and he sued the homeowners for a dangerous roof.

My advice would be if you shoot an intruder...dispose of the body quickly and efficiently...Satanic Goatslayer probably would have some resourceful ideas

We have probably had about 3 intruders shot and killed in the past couple of weeks by homeowners here in Texas......Absolutely no ramifications what so ever....I guess this redneck mentality is good for something.

I need to stop having vivid nightmares.....last night I dreamth someone was standing over me breathing on me just standing there.... I woke up freaked out.

Granted no one could take one step into my house with out my dog going ballistic, but I wouldn't want them to hurt my little girl.

I have always heard that if you shoot someone in your house...... number one make sure you kill them..... number 2 if they aren't completely in your house drag their ass in so they are.

if you shoot someone in your house you are on solid legal ground Rule one
after the incident You tell the police your name and ask for your lawyer, every answer is "no comment"

never talk to the police after a incident, the police are not your friends, they will fuck you if they get the chance
