She should get more recognition. I really like her voice. It sounds sexy in a weird way.

Weird when I see a member post that I never really seen before or forgot about.
Shirley Manson's voice is the reason the guys wanted her. Three American band guys teaming up with a Scottish singer does not happen every day. Since the first album I'm pretty sure I have seen them in concert at least 4 times(helps to live near NY).

I am the President of the EF Garbage fan club and welcome you as a member (note my avitar pic).
It's not just Shirley's voice (which is awesome), but the whole orchestration of the sound. Those guys really know what they are doing.
I actually remember exactly where I was when I heard their first song to get radio airplay. They were up for best new band that year but No Doubt got it instead.
Their last album
BTW - Shirley is my GF. She says hello. (I told her I liked her hair better mid-length and red, not short and blonde - help me convince her).

havn't heard any of their stuff since the 2nd album.
both albums are good. i can't pick particular songs and i hated how a lot of them got overly constant air play (some is good, excessive is annoying). the first 2 albums as a whole kick ass though.
