how can you people say you dont miss the likes of: dballer, moneybags, Bo$, steel beast, pink233, highintensity (even though we hated each other), frackal, citruscide, 2thick, may1010, be-cephus, massive gunz, etc, etc, etc.

This place will be only as good as we make it - but we must be doing something right since this year is our tenth anniversary online.

I'll wager that we spend more than all of the other bodybuilding boards combined maintaining the largest archive of bodybuilding info ever assembled and making this a place where thousands of members can freely give and take. I've given you the means to make it happen, so ask not what these forums can do for you, rather ask what you can do for your forums.

And in case you were not around here in 1997, even back then, we had members asking whatever happened to the good old days like back in 1996.

To reiterate what GT said, the quality of posts has taken a turn for the worse in the past year or so. "Meaningless tripe" pretty much sums it up. The board is dominated with EF dudes worshipping the female flavor of the month regardless or how lackluster she is. The back and forth flirting makes you want to stab your eyes out. While we've always had it on EF, it seems much more prevalent now than before. Thus you have a domino effect in that once two or three quality posters shut down, the rest of them follow suit eventually and the tripe takes over like those scary aliens almost did in Independence Day before Capt. Steven "Steve" Hiller and David Levison teamed up to send those nasty aliens a virus.

EF is still home, but it's just kinda like my parent's house now that I check in on. Everyday. I just don't come in and say hi all that much as it will invariably turn into my parents flirting with each other and karma bombing me if I get out of line. Also the nude avatars annoy me. And there's too many stickies. But then there's Seashell's gallery and always some fools on the anabolic board who are 5'10" 145lbs hitting cycles that are fun to chuckle at.

no doubt GS. my post was made in that fashion - a plea to the members to push ourselves to be the best damn post whores possible.seriously though, we do have great members and there will always be "remember back when" threads, but goddamnit STOP WHINING ABOUT YOUR GIRLFRIENDS AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD STOP EFLIRTING!! (unless it involves me and Seashell and then it is just cool).
