Why is Ron Jeremy such a star??

the reason you tend to see many of the same guys over and over in porn is because they can "perform" in front of the camera. Many guys think they can, but when the big moment comes they cannot even get it half-way up. It is not as easy as you think to fuck on cue in front of 10 strangers, while lighting and sound guys are walking around, director is giving instructions, people are sticking cameras and mikes inches from your ass, etc. At least this is what I saw on a show about the porn industry.

Ol' Ron was in the game early on.. when He started there were not many guys on the scene that could get it up in front of a strange girl w/ 10 other people in the room. (there was no viagra back then). So that is why he is in so many of the earlier vids... notice he is out of the picture now, unless some chick is hard up for cash.

think about it like this...a lot of guys who watch him having sex with so many beautiful women think to themselves "wow, if this fat, disgusting slob can get women, so can i"
not that i have anything against ron, he seems like a nice guy, im just saying that is what many guys would think.
when there are huge, ripped guys getting women in porn movies, it might discourage some guys i guess...you get the idea.
every guy can basically say "im better looking / more fit than him, so i could do that too, if he can!!"

The argument about the big dick is Bullshit. Maybe his dick is big compared to the average but millions of guys have a dick that big. And about keeping it up, he may of done that in the 70's but my vid is not too old and he can't get it up for shit. I'm just curious why people keep casting him, I'm sure they have to pay him more than the average guy. Makes no sense.

A friend of mine is one of the industry's former top porn stars. I asked her this question over the phone... she said...
"I love Ron. He's my total buddy. All the girls like him. He's very funny, very smart. Most of the guys in adult films are idiots. Ron is in so many movies because he PRODUCES a ton of movies. Many producers use themselves in films to either save money or to have sex with the girls, mostly to have sex with the girls."
I have to admit there is a strong logic to this. If I had the opportunity to have sex with any gorgeous girl I wanted to... but I had to do it in front of a room full of people... I know what I would choose...
