Why is Nirvana's best song released now?

I like how it took till 2002 for Nirvana to release that song "you know you're right". Why is that?

i heard someone answere this question the fist night they ever played it on the radio, don't remember exacly, but i believe it had something to do with rights to the track. i know it was something along those lines. i think it was just a scrap song, they decided to edit it, and there was a fus about it all, who get's paid? do they have the right? have to get the rights, etc etc blah blah.

Well, if you listen to the words, you will learn that the song is about Courtney Love, and how she is a pile of garbage.

Probably why she never wanted it released before.

I'm positive Courtney has been fighting for the rights for a while and had this planned a while back already. It's just too suspicious to me how she released the song and the new CD as well as selling Kurt's journals for 4 million all near the same time.
