Why is it that Gear is viewed as good and rec drugs viewed as bad?

how many deaths are attributed to driving during a cycle as opposed to driving while high or drunk or both?

How many homes are broken into by people doing heavy cycles as opposed to people doing heavy rec drugs?

How many people are robbed at gunpoint by rec drug addicts as opposed to gear heads? Banks robbed and people killed over a few dollars for a "hit". LOL Yeah we can compare gear to rec drugs.

There is a big difference between rec drugs and gear. The social ills caused be rec drug abuse as opposed to gear abuse aren't even in the same universe in comparision.

Doing gear, if done right will get you compliments out the ass. I don't know of one rec drug that can do that.

I think a few of you missed the point of Sofa Georges post. So many were quick to chime in about the one exception of a really succesful person who uses drugs. Sofa was merely sharing with us what years of life experience has taught him. Sometimes it's better to sit back, and learn from such things, rather than be cocky with all the things we've learned in our few years of adulthood.

Well all I can say is We buried my cousin a couple days ago because of rec drugs and buried his little brother 2 years ago for the same rec drugs and have seen many lives messed up my little sister just got out of prison for the 5th time because of REC drugs and her daughter is in now for many years because of REC drugs my nephew just got of prison 1 year ago after being there twice for Rec drugs and many people that i grew up with are in the pin or dead from overdose or blew there brains out because they couldnt maintain organize there life or keep a job,so I see a HUGE difference in juice and rec drugs I think you get my point ,they have destroyed my family and many of my friends familys. Btw I have trained for many moons and have been in gyms most of my life and knew just about everyone that juiced in my area and can not recall one person that was not able to keep his job or his family or become more productive because of steroids NOT ONE. I also think that the same people that do rec drugs smoke and dont take care of them selves and dont have the discipline to train anyway,I'm stating what I've seen in my life and all you winners on here know what I'm saying is true!!

This is my experience too. We just buried my girlfriend's brother two months ago... a lifetime of rehad stints... but he didn't have a problem. No. He just liked to party a little and he could do it in moderation. Right. Sure. I've heard that same line from every loser I've ever met. Saturday night I went out for pizza and beer with a guy and his four kids. For me pizza and 'beer' means one pitcher... maybe two. With this guy... once the second pitcher ran dry he started looking desperate. After pitcher number four he asked me to pick him up some Black Velvet on the way home. I asked him about his drinking. He didn't have a problem. He just liked to drink a little to relax. This f-ck had four kids. He didn't say ONE word to any of them throughout the entire dinner. He doesn't know his 18 year old daughter has her first serious boyfriend. He doesn't know his 17 year old son wants to be a cop. He doesn't know his 15 year old son is about the coolest kid I ever met. After he slumped off to sleep I say up and talked to his 13 year old daughter. She was a little sweetheart. I asked her what her dad did at home. She said, "He likes to watch old science fiction movies on TV... and he drinks a lot." Those were some sad freaking kids. Oh, but case in point... their dad is financially successful. He owns more than 50 houses and apartment buildings. He just isn't my idea of a success. He's my idea of the typical rec drug user at 50.

and 90% of the comments made on it are completely rediculous. I know plenty of HAPPY, successful, intelligent rec. drug users. I also know plenty of the opposite. It's all about who a person is and what they're made of... how intelligent, mentally strong, and caring they are. These generalizations are biased and without merit.

By the way, I can honestly say that more than half of the gear heads that I've met in life are extremely unintelligent. But I guess that goes for the rest of the planet as well, so who knows.

As for my opinion, I believe alot has to do with the person and the type of drug we are speaking about.
A Harvard MBA with a 100$ a week coke habit is not the same thing as a McDonalds dude shooting meth.

I totally agree witrh Psychopath. Rec drugs are responsible for so many things that is bad in society. If they were the same, then why aren't officials cracking down on roid smuggling instead of cocaine smuggling. The border patrol could care less if you are smuggling a bottle of Test across. Most likely they would just confiscate it and mess with you a little bit, and then you'd be on your way. Try doing that with a few crack rocks. The main difference is that Rec drugs pose a huge threat to society, while gear does not.
