I've read how neoconservative lobbyist may have influenced Bush to attack Iraq and may do it again here. I simply don't believe a religious group has that much influence much less a minority one.

I shouldn't have to explain myself any further than what I have, and no, guilt over the Holocaust has nothing to do with this war. Before jumping on my back with an emotion-charged response, calling my comments "childish" and "stupid", perhaps using a little more discretion and acknowledging the fact that there are possibilties you might not have previously thought of before would keep things more civil around here.


4ever, I agree with you; we need to stay out of this war, although it seems unlikely. As you probably know it will only further anger the Arabs and incite more terrorism and hostility towards us, but then if we abandon our support of Israel we'll be pissing them off too. Fun times. Ehh.

Iran has to seriously consider our 140000 or so combat seasoned troops on both of their asses
Iran and Iraq futzed around for 8 years in the 80s trying to gain an advantage against each other
you do know Iran and Iraq fought an 8 year war

Given the topic of this thread it safe to say you were implicitly referring to this war. But anyways like I said maybe we were on different pages there.

im just gunna point out two things i dont like:
2) "terrorists at war with israel". so the israelis attacking the palastenians and souther lebanon are soldiers, but those attacking the israelis are terrorists? lol@that. in my opinion the terrorists are the ones blowing up airports,

The Hezbollah operate a muslim militia that has de facto contol over Southern Lebanon. The nation of Lebanon has allowed this to occur, so in effect they condone Hezbollah's actions. There has been a status quo for several years, allowing the Hezbollah to kidnap any Israeli soldiers in a DMZ. & Israel has counterred with attaqcks on things like Electrical plants & such. Hezbollah has frequently stated their intent to enter Israel with the intent of kidnapping, & Israel in turn has said, do not do it, or we will retaliate, like never before. These Israeli soldiers were taken from inside Israel's borders, basically from an invasion. Israel has retaliated.
I think the nation of Israel has sunk to the level of their aggressors, but they have been in that quagmire since '47.

What do you want me to say, that you were right? I'm done arguing with you, since apparently that is all that would please your one dimensional train of thought. I've looked at the issue from all angles, and that was my conclusion imo. Attacking me for it only proves your immaturity.
