Is there a problem with the server or something??? The past 2 weeks have been worse than ever, im really struggling to post messages!

The site is slow becuase we are busy. We are in the middle of a MAJOR upgrade to the servers and that costs thousands.
Elite gets over 40,000 hits a day and at any given time has many hundreds of members and guest logged in. Its slow becuase we are freaking huge. We are the 2nd most visited bodybuilding site on the planet, and are ranked 13,000 best site in the world. (alexa.com)
Granted there are other website to go to, and then run fast becuase they have no where near the traffic we have.
Rest assured it is being dealt with, upgrades are comming and thanks to all the plat members that support the board. Peace

Well gang, the site is busier than ever and growing every week. A site of this size takes serious bandwidth and serious processing power to run. You guys who run smaller boards will see exactly what I mean when and if your boards take off.
George is in the middle of implementing a hardware upgrade to help with these issues and all of you non-platinum guys may want to consider contributing by becomming platinum instead of complaining. Your funds will not only help support the growing CPU demands but help to insure that, if the need arises, EF can go to bat and keep your private information private.

yea im with Zyg on this one. not that I'm sayin its stupid for nonm-platinum members to post or anyhting but I just think that its worth the 12 dolars a month to support the site. And wow great point about having to go to bat to keep our info private. The board has been really slow but shit happens and they ar working on it as they said. BE patient guys its worth the wait.
Dont get me wrong guys I know that it can be dificult for some people to dig up $12 a month and I know that often times issues arent resolved all that fast around here but EF is running very short handed just to keep things afloat and any extra plat membership will go a long way in helping EF grow as well as increasing the sites performance.
99% of the site is free and its full of info and helpfull people, plat and non plat alike but lets face it, running this place costs money and a lot of it. Us mods dont get paid, we are volunteers and most people here give as much if not more than they take information waise, but in the end if you add up the hours you spend on EF and divide that by $12 you will find this is some of the cheapest entertainment anywhere
