Many from the group of active posters post and respond to posts about worthless subject, and their posts themselves are devoid of any substance or meaning. It's never just one person, it's always a self-sustaining group. Eg., all the 'good bors' support each others' crap threads with worthless posts, and so on. Most other posters or threads don't recieve the attention from this group, or their posts/threads buried by crap from the megaposters. It's always a cyclic thing, we just need a better dominating group of active posters here, that's all.

1-overmoderation,I remember the days we posted all kinds of goofy fucked up shit,nobody cared, now we lose the simple pleasures or poop threads etc,I say let if go if nobody is getting hurt no matter how stupid it is,or if its lowering the IQ of the site,its a god damn chat site on a bodybuilding board,we dont need to be professional like we are inside a government office.

I agree. There are few actual INTERESTING posts, and even fewer interesting people contributing to them.
Not to mention, the emphasis on karma .... how woked up people get over karma is so lame, and the fact that there is such a focus on it makes C&C even MORE boring in my opinion.

I hear about overmoderation a lot, but I've never seen a big issue over it. If overmoderation is deleting poop threads, then I completely support locking that crap. A few sick-but-highly-entertaining posts by popular members years ago and everyone jumps on the bandwagon like they have an actual fetish, turning a bit of off-handed humor into some low-class sexually-deprived cry for attention. Disagree? Then please share with us why exactly you feel the need to discuss this topic so freely with... no, on second thought, don't. I really don't want to know.
Over or under-moderation goes in cycles as well. People complain now, but I don't see any Fonz's locking posts because people disagree with them. I see mod's locking: a) karma theads, and b) threads of no value or discussion whatsoever. Seems to me that the mod-locking problem has gotten better throughout the years, just judging by the kind of threads locked.
And if someone could tell me what the purpose of whoring is, or how it makes you "cool" or a better person[a], or how it increases the board's quality, please feel free to share. ok fine my real answer is that people need to loosen up, make some jokes, banter, and have a good time without giving a shit if they offend people. AND - people should be allowed to flame people a bit more, otherwise its stifling...and we all know that good flames are some of the most entertaining stuff you can get on a message board

EF sucks because 1. There are too many forums that nobody visits in which threads get moved to. 2. Too much focus on karma. It's become some childish game. 3. Newbies come here, get confused with all the karma games then leave. 4. EF is PC now. 5. All the decent posters are gone because of the above.
