Writers have to be very curious about things going on around them. You never know where a great idea may come from. See the world around you but then add a few fictional facts at the same time to see how the brew looks after that. There are some very good writers here. When I'm not lazy, I can write very well according to my brother-in-law, who taught college English and can't spell.

Gads...reminds me all of the talent of my youth that never was put to proper use.

Let me see. I was encouraged to persue writing, accounting, engineering, politics, tennis, and swimming.


Now I am condsidering other careers at an age when some are retired...40's.


Oh well....I'm sure that 99% of all talent is squandered.
