Why Don’t I see more freaks with all the gear people are taking

my point,,,

hard work & dedication can overcome a lot,,,,

Look at Arnold,,, everything he did in his life whether bodybuilding, business, college, acting, he was a complete success. No either he was the luckiest motherfucker on the planet or he has some kind of unreal drive.

What do you think??

genetics play a role..for sure. Maybe you won't be as massive as the pros, but, you can still look as big and/or as cut as you can with the genetics you have.

I guess I look at things from the level I compete at. I did train clean for ten years and beat guys on gear. But I never miss a workout and I always eat good. I guess I have good genetics but I am also tenacious as hell! I never give up. Gear is not magic, you have to do it all right to reach the top.

IMOP, Gear is only 15% of the picture. The other 85% is diet, rest & dedication in the gym. Too many jerk-offs think the opposite.

this genetýcs crap ýs totally exaggerated!!!

even with poor genetýcs one can still build a solýd and muscular physique. now he surely wont be as big as dorian or coleman but who wants that anyways.

i think people use the genetýcs excuse way too much when they should be looking at other factors such as inensity of workouts, disciplýne to remain persistent, and diet.

I just don't see that much overtraining going on these days.

I definitely do not see enough intensity from most while doing whatever it is they are doing in the gym.

Seems like I am usually the only one sweating like a dog, out of breath, strecthing some part of my body because of the pump and burn. I am in and out in one hour, that is my rule, get it done or leave it.

I don't think that most out there are taking the dosages needed to become a freak. There is a lot more involved than taking one gram of test per week. Why do you think there are so many books written on "Chemical Muscle?"

I have to agree with the "percentage post" of gear being only 15% of the equation. No matter what it all comes down to 80% (or the majority) Diet which was what the original post was about. As for the overtraining, I see it all the time at my gym. I see so many scrawny bros staying in the gym for 2+ hours. It is like a crutch for being small when you see them out in public. "Well I train for for two and a half hours and you train for one hour therefore i should be bigger than you" Im sorry but results talk and I dont care how long you stay in the gym your not gonna grow unless body has fuel.

2 grams of protein and 22 cal per pound of bodyweight should be a minimum??????????

2g of protein per pound of bodybweight????

What is this guy (bigp3) smokin???

You dont need no where near that much protein to grow at an alarming rate! I would advise 1.25g per pound of bodyweight and 2.75g - 3g or carbs per pound of bodyweight. If your not growing on that up the carbs not the protein.

The only time you will need more protein than that is when your on a very low carb diet.
