I know this thread will get tons of hits. lol If you clicked on it, you gotta be somewhat intereseted. I thought my windshield wiper fluid was frozen and that's why it did'nt work, but now that it's 50 degrees outside it still does'nt work even after refilling it.

What can I do myself to fix the damn thing? Could it still be frozen and need more time? It has been warm all day, I don't know how long it takes to thaw.

Thats why when it gets cold where I am I get the kind that has the deicer stuff in it. That shit never freezes. Are you sure that the motor is still working??

Lift up the hood & see if the cable has been disconnected.....

Also if it's the one on the driver's side -- make sure the reservoir is full enough as the driver's side cable has to travel further to operate....

Are you sure you filled the wiper fluid? I guess you'll know one way or another if your engine overheats and seizes.

lol @ everyone. gai`z

I did put the blue stuff in there. I don't know what's in it. I just got my oil changed where they top off fluids and STILL asked him specifically to put fluid in there. "Oh sure we did" I checked the wipers... nothing. Then I checked the fluid level and pointed it out that it was empty. "Oh I'll fill it somew more" wtf? It's like $1.25 for a whole gallon of that stuff.

Anyway, it still did'nt work. Maybe it needs to be primed???

Damn bor, not the blue stuff :worried:

Whatever you do, don't turn the ignition
