why does waxy maize make me sleepy?

When I take WMS, I get tired very quickly and want to sleep?

Are there any reasons for this? THis has never happened with any other carb for me - normally, they give me energy.
 
carbs always make me sleepy bro, Iam pretty sure my blood get so thick my heart even takes a break and for a few minutes I am clinically dead. Sorry I can't help you there
 
This has diminished significantly. I've changed the solution from 10% to 5%. The only problem now is the sleep interruption if I train at night, as I have 1.5 litres of water to piss out

if your taking your WMS multiple hours before bed, have a 5% solutioin so not to get tired.

if your taking it closer to bed, have the 10%, so you get sleepy

now thats what i call reversing a problem!

Hmm this is a good question. This could be why i have been really tired as of late, ive been slammin down alot of carbs via WM.

Yeah bro if you don't mix th WMS in the proper solution it is not as effective. I had the same problems until i read how to mix it. You want a 5%-10% solution. So if you have 50 grams of total powder(ex 40gm WMS, 5gm BCAA, 5gm Creatine) you need 1 liter of water to get the 5% solution. This is optimal for gut clearance and proper nutrient absorption.
 
I usually do 2 scoops metrx and 1 scoop WM in my shaker, i think i fill it with around 400-500ML water. Any problem other then possible slower digestion without having tons of water.

The addition of the Metrx will slow the absorption. I like to take the waxy like I mentioned in the other post, then have a regular whey shake 15-30 minutes later. This is best imo. But it is all relative. As long as you are recovering from your workouts and getting stronger do what works best for you.
 
Thats how i kinda train anyway, do what works and switch when the gains slow or i need a break. Always trying new stuff i am very new to the game. If anything i need my metabolism slowed a little so i can put some weight on!
