Why does no one ever talk in Platinum chat?

I have not seen anyone talk except for Wodin once, and replying to myself occasionally. What Gives?

Too complicated... plus, the little private chat window is annoying since you do not know when someone writes and if you close the window it ends the session

The question is: why in the blue hell anybody doesn't make an irc channel in Ircnet, so people could chat via mIRC?
