Why do you care so much about what you look like?

I hate it when people give me shiat for putting so much time into my bodybuilding regimen. They think I'm sick in the head sometimes, with all the dieting, hours put in at the gym, time put into planning and shopping for food, studying about new supplements and anabolics the like. But the fact remains......I chose this lifestyle so I would't look like these people, on the outside as well as on the inside. It's a way of life. My God does it pay off to have a sick looking body. The looks people give you in admiration for what they want themselves to look like in the mirror can not be beat. Having a sick looking body can make you feel superior to everyone around you, better feeling than any drug in my book. Hard work in the gym, strict dieting, and research pay off. Never listen to the jealous people that try and break you away from your routine to be a couch potatoe or whatever else it is these distractions do on their spare time. You'll always have time to chase the "Muff" around the pool, watch the game with the boys or go to the beach to show of that Elite Body off. Just thought I'd get this off my chest as I have been having trouble with distractions myself.

well said bro....

i'm sure most people here can relate. Most of us catch so much shit for what we do....from co-workers, family, friends

I've never felt or looked better than i do now but i still have to deal with that "you need to slow down", "why do you want to get so big" talk from people i know. I've had bosses accuse me of juicing, family members....friends. it's tough but i'll be damned if i let their view stop me.the worst part is other people will NEVER see things from our perspective

if you let someone like that get to your head then you're a loser

everyone wants to be big and healthy but not everyone wants to work for it

This coming from a kid who's never done a cycle.

Trust me, things are different when people think you are on steroids and say that directly to you or, to other people etc. It's something that you don't want to advertise but people form their own conclusions anyway. it can't cost certain people their job, their friends....
its not easy if you fall into that category

I know the feeling.. When I go to my folks house for BBQ or something I bring my own food.. Its all down hill from there. Why cant you eat what we eat? Why do worry about what you look like? why do you work out so much? why do you shave your body? why this why that? blah blah blah , you know the story...
The fact is being "in shape" isnt easy and takes a lot of mental toughness. Just dont take it to heart.

Nothing worth achieving is easy. If it were, you'd see everybody fit as a fiddle.

Most people that get to know you just kid about it. Just a way of being firendly, think nothing of it.

I find co-workers get on your case alot. They always have to say something about your food. I don't say anything about your fries and gravy so why are you commenting on my food? i think i will start giving out a few comments of my own!

Just forgot to say something before.

Never fall in the trap of thinking that just because you have a physically superior body to other people that you are better than them.

Seen way too many people act this way.

Thats a good question. However, there's always bound to be someone smarter than you. :)
