Why do threads get moved to plat area?

It seems like one or two out of every 10 threads that I am subscribed to get moved to a plat area. It is frustrating. Why are they getting moved? is it just so that I will go plat so that i can continue to view them?

I know the simple answer is to go plat...so I dont need 30 responses telling me to go plat

It's cuz the threads get too detailed about certain labs/sources/members and someone decides only paying members should see it...safer considering LE prob arent plats

yeh....NO way feds would ever be platinum.......come on......of course they go platinum, you don't think the government has enough money to buy some investigators platinum status

This is not the case. Those thread got moved to a MOD only forum. I get the same thing, and I am platinum.

Yah too detailed for who? If its a common interest and a non plat needs to see the information in a thread and it gets moved to only people with platinum memeberships, what does that prove and do? Besides try and get more people to become platinum? Anyone with money can acess it, so all its doing is keeping the people who don't have enough money out of the information. If you buy a plat membership does that mean you are now above everyone else and can have access to what the mods feel us unplats can't?

Yep the whole "It's only for platinum members" is a crock of shit. Just say its moved to the mod forum instead of BSing members or others.
