I really fail to understand it.....the street I live on is one way up with parking on both sides. At times when you come home with packages, groceries, etc there isn't anywhere to park so sometimes you have to stop in the street & unload. Well, tonite the people a few houses down had to do the same and this car of guys pull up behind them blaring their horn, get out of the car & start yelling at them.....

We're standing outside watching.......it's just ridiculous!! Why do people have to act like Asses?? You can see clear down the street that it's blocked so just go around the F'n block!! Jeez!!

It can go either way. Depends on who`s side you`re on. I don`t like people double parking just to hang out and talk with other people on the street and stuff. Your story was different though, with groceries and stuff, you gotta do it. Not gonna walk a few blocks with 10 grocery bags. I could understand that.

I love having a driveway. Not all my neighbors have one and it sucks for them.

Well that sucks. When people lay on the horn to get me to go, I put the car in park and get out to see if they need anything. That gets them even more pissed, but makes me feel better. lol

I don`t do that, but would like to. I`ve never really been beeped to like that. I say you just gotta brush it off if people do that on your block. I saw your post about living in the city and not having to deal with Landscaper noise at 7AM. lol good and bad..huh?

semi similar, sort of....

last week i was driving, came up to an intersection with a sign posted that said NO TURNS. light turns green, everyone starts moving. i'm in the left lane. the asshole in front of me puts on his left turn signal and stops. he was from out of state.

i decide to be nice, so i give him about 20 seconds before i honk the horn. he just kind of waved back at me. i honked again and kept pointing up to the sign. this went on for over a minute, i was at the point i was about to get out of the car and ask him what part of NO TURNS he didn't understand. i was also comtemplating just pushing his car out of the way with the rustbucket. i was also contemplating getting out of the car and shooting the stupid fucker.

he finally figured out he wasn't ever going to get a chance in hell to turn because of oncoming traffic. fuckin retards.

It would have been pretty stupid on her part if she was doing anythign other than just putting the stuff on the sidewalk so she could put it in the house later.

It was raining, and she had some help so she was trying to expedite the situation......

This street is the only one-way-all-the-way-up-to-Union-Street-from-Maryland-Ave Street in the city and people beep their horn (blare!) without even giving anyone a chance -- you can see from the bottom of the street that it's blocked and it's only 2 blocks out of the way to go around.......there is just no reason for it....

One way = traffic goes in one direction only, one lane only for traffic

My street has parking on both sides of the street, however, when you come home from somewhere you won't necessarily have a place to park on the street, so if you have "stuff" and it's a lot you have to stop in the travel lane & carry your stuff inside, all the while blocking the lane temporarily.

I just think people should be more respectful & either go around the block or just wait patiently.

i've wanted to myself, but the fact is, even if they knowingly and willingly ran out in front of you with the intention of you hitting them, your insurance will still have to pay out and you'll suffer the higher rates for a few years.
