Why do my shins hurt SO BAD when doing cardio while on cycle?

I'm guessin water retention? Currently on Cyp/Tren/Winny/Clen.
I am using A-dex @1mg EOD. Ate like a champ yesterday for the holiday after not cheating for a week and a half on my summer diet and was DYING on the treadmill today. Had to get off after ten minutes!

Like I said, I'm assuming water retention? Any other thoughts? I bought an OTC Diuretic today, Xpel from MHP. Hopefully i will be better in a day or two.

could be shin splints (myositis). I would recommend custom orthotics for your running shoes and make sure you are wearing an anti-pronation type of shoe

I was a competitive runner for 2 years.. shin splints are no fucking joke. people are ignorant who say to just deal with them and keep running through them, you really shouldn't. you definately can create such major damage in there.

to make a long story short after seeing countless docs and acupuncturists and massage specialists etc. the only solution was REST. I had to give up competitive running. and that is when I got into bodybuilding last year.... since then my shins have improved and are 90% healed up.

orthopedics, shoes, etc will NOT make a bit of difference if you have damage in your shins. trust me I tried it all. its hard to do but you must stop running and i also recommend traumeel injections to reduce the inflammation and get things healing faster. you can buy traumeel online from vet shops. lock and load.. hurts like hell but it will help.. almost like putting sports cream into the legs instead of on top.

PS you mentioned water retention, i dont understand that theory at all. i would say a lack of water retention would make the condition worse while water would lube up them up. in any event I don't feel shin splints have anything to do with steroids at all. i never took steroids in my life up to that point and had shin splints twice.. once while playing soccer in high school and once when i was 1 year into competitive running 5K's and half marathons.

and YES they hurt like hell, anyone who calls you a pussy for not running with them needs to get punched cuz they have no Fing clue how bad they hurt

How do u know he needs anti pronation shoes??what if he has hi arches?? He won't run 2 min..

sounds like shin pumps to me. I get them bad when im on cycle. the pain feel just like shin splints, and at the recomendation of my instructor (a dr in exercise physiology) I bought some shoes for the over pronataiton.

It helped out great when running laps around that fuckin track, but the pain would still come, and by the end of it, I felt like my muscle was tearing from the bone.

but you know what cured it? when I came off cycle and wasn't on any more steroids.

I tested my theory too. went running again on the next cycle, shure as shit, about a mile into it, felt the pain in my solieus area, fuckin hurts like a bitch.

came off cycle, and ran the whole way, same shoes, fine, no shin pumps.

what can you do to help this? shoes, as rec. above, also take in a shit load of potassium, and taurine, and water. but ultimately, only comming off cycle will make the pain go away.

also, try doing cardio that wont involve running or jumping.

shin pumps bring new meaning to "feel the burn"

i hope that they are shin pumps.. its easy to tell the difference.. pumps feel like your muscles are about to explode almost like a cramp... while shin splints feel like an inflammation type feeling

slyder i think after re-reading your post they are in fact shin pumps. and you can forget cardio while on cycle.. while i am on i can make it a half a mile before i have to stop cause of the pumps.

luckily if you lift weights you will stay in good shape and can always get back into cardio after cycle

Exactly what I was thinking. My first thought was the 1mg of Arimidex he is taking everyday combined with Winny. That could dry the heck out of you, and kill your joints.

1mg A-dex EOD. To offset the water with 750mg Cyp. I was fine with cardio until I did my first real killer day and half cheat over the holiday weekend. When I went to do cardio again after that is when the pain came out of nowhere, so that is why I guessed at possible water retention after doin low carb for a week and a half and then throwin back so many carbs and so much food in general for a 1 and 1/2 days. We'll see what happens tomorrow.

a foot can be maximally pronated with a high arch believe it or not. Shin splints are always caused by excessive sub-talar joint pronation. Custom orthotics and rest are the keys.

If shin splits were the reason of the pain In the first place, I'd say go see if u need cushion, stability or motion control shoes.wrong shoes would just get him another problem..

yeah his problem is def shin pumps.. i would lay my life on it.

running on the treadmill and hard surfaces, as well as downhills can def create shin splint problems as a side note, but that isn't his problem here. as well as improper shoes, heel striking and poor striding.
