TWO OF THE GREATEST COMICS EVER:

CALVIN AND HOBBES
THE FARSIDE

AND LOOK AT THE SHIT THAT KEEPS ON GOING.

CATHY, FOR FUCK'S SAKE.

FOR BETTER OR FOR WORSE....PIECE OF RUBBISH.

GASOLINE ALLEY...THE DUDE'S NAME IS SKEEZIX FER CHRISSAKE.

ALL SORTS OF SHIT KEEPS GOING WHILE THE GOOD ONES DIE!! :(

I know everyone here likes Mary Worth and Judge Parker.

Calvin and Hobbes was The Bomb.

I also like Get Fuzzy.

Good post. It's true. I have no idea what's in the comics these days, I just know it's all crap.

Add Bloom County to the list as well. :(

Calvin and Hobbes rule. They still do. No other comic has come close to matching them. First books I started reading on my own were Calvin and Hobbes.

The BoonDocks sucks ass.

Calvin and Hobbes will always be the greatest. Nothing else could touch it in terms of pure imagination. We should all get together and play Calvin ball in honor.

One of the real sad losses was RICK O'SHAY w/ his way cool sidekick Hipshot Percusion... western comic strip light years ahead of its time. They tried to keep it going after teh creator died... but they couldn't capture the magic.

Like TV shows I guess they want to leave while they are on top although so few do. I happen to like Blondie and that seems like it's been going on forever.
