Why Didn't the Emperor Clone Darth Vadar?

I guess all those empire soldiers were the clone dude under the white mask right? So why wouldn't the empire clone Darth instead of him? And don't say there wasn't enough time because Luke was just a baby at the end of the third one.

And I better get alot of responses on this. I mean I can't believe the fly stopping the train got four pages like that would ever happen.
 
The clone army was made before Darth switched over. He was still Anakin Skywalker whiel the clone army was growing.

I know but couldn't he have started when Anakin turned? Remember Luke was just a newborn himself.

I just watched the new one last night and it got me thinking. Because the clone warriors seem kind of dorky wouldn't the empire be intimidating with a bunch of heavy breathing darths running around.

I disagree I have a fake rolex submariner that I bought in Mexico for $75 and it still looks great after 2 years. Then I got to spend the money I saved on the watch to upgrade my chopper where I can't get good clone parts.

But I want to know why think the darth being the chosen one should have anything to do with it. I mean he turned pretty dang evil killing little kids and all with a light sabre.
 
The bounty hunter that was cloned was a badass. C'mon man, Anakin's the chosen one - no way teh emp would water him down. He just needed a bunch of grunts so he cloned a stallion and that was that.

The bounty hunter was a wimp look how many princess leah took out and she had no formal jedi training.

Who cares if he watered him down. I mean does the empire want to take over the galaxy or what?

Would you want God to be cloned? God is the "One" would u want to be dealing with a clone?
 
You know, after Darth Vader got his ass kicked by Obi Wan, he lost alot of his natural talent in the force? Cloning him would be a great way for his dark majesty to restore this power. A Darth Vader with all of his powers intact, would be a great assett to the cause.

God is all powerful he don't need to be cloned. He kicked Jacob's butt in the Bible so he don't need to be cloned. He could just say be gone and you would be gone.

Darth on the otherhand got his butt beat by obi one. So he needs more darths to beat up on the jedis.
 
curling - it could be possible to clone Darth Vader in the flesh and looks, but I don't think would be possible to clone the hatred he had developed for the Jedis or possibly to clone his ability to use the Force. A clone would probably still need to be trained in fighting skills and such because I don't think cloning technologies actually go beyond physical makeup and resemblence.

I wonder why he didn't just make more Dark Grievouss types or whatever that 4 arm robot was called.

Now aap, you go and make a good argument like that I am going to have to think here for a second. Even though you couldn't clone the hatred you are still cloning the man right? I mean anakin would be a better clone fighter that the original clone fighter because they would both still have to be trained right?

This is a very good point. He was a heck of a fighter. And production time would be alot less than raising an anakin from birth to man with fighting skills and all. I concede to your point this is what the ugly emperor dude should have done.

You are mistaken I'm afraid. The emperor has cloned himself a numerous times, following the events after The Return of The Jedi. Although this happened in the Comicbooks, published by Dark Horse, it is still recognized as a part of the SW Expanded Universe, and an Official part of the Star Wars canon

That movie deserves all Oscars then.
 
They used Jango Fett as a basis for the soldier clones. However, none of those soldiers could fight as well as Jango. Which is why I believe that cloning would not have articulated such things as fighting skill levels. Maybe a basic understanding of the fighting techniques but not true mastery that the original would possess.

Or maybe after getting butchered up by Obi Wan, there was no way to successfully make a clone that still had all his arms and legs since the limps and nerve endings had been severed.

Sir. These are not the arguments you are looking for :)

When you make a clone, you do not make an excact replica of the body you are in right now. You make a replica based on dna profile and other niceties. A clone of Lord Vader, would not have his injuries. But would have his talents and natural abilities in the force. It/he would have his potential, strengths and weaknesses, but not his experiences.

The clones created from Mr. Fett did not have his mastery, because they did not have his life-long experience. But they did have his talent, and with time, probably would achieve his level of skills.

My little theory on why His Dark Majesty did not clone Lord Vader, was due to the fact that His Lordship had greater potential than The Emperor. He even said so Himself, in a "conversation" with Master Yoda.

Now this is the reason right here that makes sense. How could emperor control thousands of Darths they would definetely overpower him.

You sound like a starwars nut I have another question for ya. Why didn't the sith lord that anakin chopped his head off squeal out the chancellor when the chancellor told anakin to kill him?

That is who I am talking about too. Maybe Dooku didn't do anything because he thought maybe the Chancellor was going to save him at the last moment and was just testing him to see how much faith he (dooku) had in his Sith master (chancellor)

btw in the "Clone Wars" animated series (which fills in Anakin's life between episode 2 and 3) all the troopers were highly trained kickass fighters, not like the movies.
