Where did you hear that Mr. X left... i hope that's not true...

I don't know why he left, but this board has sure been lame since he's been gone....
.... no one is sure enough of themselves or confident enough in their knowledge to answer posts decisively, after having a know-it-all like Mr X around who was usually the last person to post in each thread.
I guess some of us will just have to take the initiative and answer the questions, and people will have to be aware that they take our advice at their own risk.

WTF??? I just joined Elite Platinum this week. I joined because of MR.X, he always has those things on the bottom of his signature "click here to join" "support the site". So TO THANK MR.X I CLICKED AND JOINED. and now he`s gone???
I`m definately not mad at HIM, but just mad cause I just joined and he`s not here.
PS I really have no reason to keep my subscription now. (I bought the 1 year+7months)

danielbishop, he knows his stuff but then so do a hell of a lot of others here, and its been like only 2 days since his last post

daneilson is also correct. I'ts not so much what MR X knows that makes him a great mod (though that sure helps, but there are plenty of other people around with knowledge too). More importantly MR X takes time to answer even the most basic 'newby' questions in a polite and helpful way, even though the question has been asked (and answered) a hundred times before on these boards and even though a simple search would turm up the same answers. THAT'S what makes a good mod.
Until MR X's finger heals, it might be good practice for some of you other diet board members to practice this kind of patience and help out with some answers as best you can. They say the best way to learn something is to try and teach it to someone else........

I do appreciate MR. X and I think he is imformative guy, and if he DID leave I will mis him. But, we still need to keep this board alive all i hear is bitching come on peeps, George's boards are like the best and they have morphed through time, and this

I don't know of anybody on this whole board that repeatedly takes time out to answer the same questions that are asked every single day....and a hundred times in the past, as MR. X has done. He is DEFINATELY one of the most grateful MODS on this site. Give the guy a little breathing room.
I'd be tired after 3 days of doing that. Some of you need to use the SEARCH button a little more....hell, scroll down a few threads, and I bet you can find your question answered in someone elses thread.
The analytical thinking on this board has went down hill in the past year. I hardly ever come around anymore. There are some cool people here though, so I am not trying to start a fight, but maybe we should learn to research our questions a little more before running to MR. X for everything. BURN-OUT FROM THESE BOARDS CAN AND DOES OCCUR.
And like the person earlier mentioned, he does have a job and family to attain to as well.
He'll be back....
