every 87 minutes on the dot.

it's worse on other forums where temp bans are very common. of course, it's so bad sometimes that they have a ban log to let everyone know which mod banned who and for how long. pretty funny, IMO.
 
Im pretty sure for messing with Courtneybcca. He redded as a joke for posting on a karma thread and then he would make comments to piss her off on other posts she made. It was at times pretty funny, Ive seen way worse between the guys on here. I think b/c she's a female.
Sorta the harrassment policy I think. I wonder if its permanent or just to teach him a lesson for a few days and send him a message. I dont think he was banned last night when I logged off.

Nope, like I said its that she was a female and then she made a thread last night saying "mods please help" 4everhung is bothering me do something. I guess they did even though almost all the posts, except mine :verygood: , told her to quit being such a drama queen.

well the actual difference is it was a one sided flame war. he was actually stalking her. she rarely replied to most of his post but he continued.

i have no problem with peeps fucking with peeps but after 2 or 3 post and thier not taking it the way you are its time to let it alone. he even stalked her in her 'letter' thread. i figured he'd be gone.

He has been extremely rude to me for no reason for a little while, and I had asked him to stop, but he continued... It was getting worse and last night he was following me on each thread I posted on making rude comments to me and to other people. Radar had already edited some of the posts and had warned him and told him to leave me alone. I tried to leave everyone out of it but when he started in on samouth last night while he was helping me with a homework problem I had enough. If I did something to offend him I would understand but I had never talked to the guy before. He was just trying to hurt my feelings and get me to leave the board.

Here are the 9 steps you need to take if you wanna ban someone:

1. Create an Alter with a cool, funy, female name

2. search the net for an unknown fitness model and save her pics to your Alters gallery.

3. post 2-3 posts a day on the chat board, just agree with whatever is being said.

4. post every now and then on the weight lifting section about how much you love squatting.

5. Join the Iron angels.

6. Get close to one or two mods, preferrably The shadow and some female mod. It's easy, you are a woman and you keep agreeing with them. (see step 3)

7. Send red K to the person you hate and say something really insulting to him.

8. he will get pissed, if not do anything you can to piss that person off and eventually they will do something not nice in return.

9. Open up a thread requesting he gets banned.

if you ran a resturaunt and peeps were eating at thier table, and some guy that just walks in and doesnt buy anything starts harrassing the eaters, what would you do?

i have noticed 4everhung stalking her every thread or post for over two days. im not taking either side, but like i said. sometimes enough is enough, especially when its one sided. look at the threads, its 4hung posting towards her 6 to 1. she was trying to ignore him.

I didnt see much of him doing that though mightve missed it, I did see that in the letter thread and Ive had good chats with courtney and pretty sure she isnt an alter and I think she's a neat girl at times. But when someone who limits her posts to just herself and not chatting with others, some take offense at that and call her selfabsorbed. I can understand why myself b/c of the difficult situation she's in and its difficult to think of anything else, but it can invite someone to call her on it. I dont think that's right to do that as the board is here for people who are going through bad situations and we are here for support when its serious. The board should take care of its own, other than that I think the other stuff is for fun. He prolly shoulda just left her alone right now.
I dont know enough about the situation to say 4everhung should be suspended, I guess the mods couldve looked up his posts and saw something I didnt see.

I didn't bother to read the threads, so I will take your word for it. but if all you have is he was posting on all her threads, then it's bullshit. if he was threatening her ir being blatantly rude (meaning he called her a cunt or a slut or something), then that's another story. but fact is, if you put a doood in her position, ain't nobody gonna run to his rescue. they wanted equal rights, well here they fucking are. pay for your own fucking meal, open the fucking door for yourself, you touch me and I'm knocking you the fuck out, you cry and I laugh. simple as that.

I dont know or really care what 4everhung's problem is with courtney, I suspect its b/c he doesnt like the way she bares her body mostly naked on here and then posts about her innocence. The second part was pretty much dead on. He was out of line, even for EF C&C. She repeatedly asked him to stop, and he just kept up with it. I don't care who the person is or what sex they are, if they're a paying member of this site, and they have a legitamate problem like this, and they made every effort on their end to put an end to it, then I don't see why this thread has 50 posts debating the issue.

There weren't many of us around this morning at that time, but 4everhung was really acting strange. I've never seen something like that on here before... and I've been here a pretty damn long time. I just figured that maybe he just mixed a few too many drugs last night or something. I've seen the guy around plenty, and never saw him acting like that.

On a more humorous note, he really had me going. I totally thought him, Courtney and Spongenotbob we're trying to fuck with me with that problem, lol. I had to go back and actually prove the thing all the way through to make sure the solution wasn't discontinuous over the entire interval or something.

if you go into my thread about the letter I wrote, I encouraged others to answer some questions that were sent to me... I got a bunch of responses from people that have been going through similar situations so I was glad to share it.. The whole point was to put it up for a open discussion.

I thought the ulter thing was done with... I have made some friends on this board, and I enjoy reading the posts and engaging in the threads. If it makes you feel better to think of me as a male then whatever... I know who I am and that is all that matters. I have poured my heart out on this forum. And I deeply thank everyone that has helped with with guidence and suggestions...

To answer the original question, it was because he was being an asshole. For those that will say that people need to lighten up, maybe so, but there are rules here that you must follow, just like in real life. You can have fun and joke around, but if the other person says quit it, you might want to consider quiting, and finding someone else to joke with.

Just curious b/c I have no idea, how could they not come back forever. Arent IP addys easy to change and they change like every coupla days on dialup. Just wondering how its done, and there also anonymization sites so you can surf the net anonymously anyhow.
I guess Ive just always been curious as to how that works.
 
Why did he get banned? A non plat/non paying member post stalking a paying/Plat member.Not good business? Yea right!
