..... and by the way, I have known several people who were great service members and wanted to continue, but were discharged for various stupid reasons.

While that may be, there is no easy solution, that's why Clinton compromised on the gays in the military issue.

If you have a good solution, call your congressperson and share it.

I think you would get more credit for this post if you had an intelligent title, saying conservatives are stupid is kind of....well stupid, that's like me saying all liberals are either gay or jewish.

By the way, they're doing these guys a favor by dismissing them...they'd probably end up getting their asses beat, and no I don't agree with it, but theyre preventing certain violent situations from occuring towards these individuals.

One thing I've realized in my young life is that most media/news output is left wing biased. And of course if your out after curfew banging someone...be it guy/girl your gonna get reamed (pardon the pun). Pink is right though that they are saving them from future ass beatings.

You break the rules - you pay the consequences. There is nothing conservative or republican about that.

A policy in the military, as others have illustrated, is don't ask, don't tell. These people did not follow that policy, they were punished.

A policy in the military is stay in you own bunk after lights out. These guys did not follow that rule either, they were discharged.

If sticking to the rules is conservative and Republican, well then I guess I'm both.
