i ran across several NFL players while working in the strip club. they gave off a definite "don't fuck with us aura"...

Cause nobody cares about baseball. There was a pitcher who beat his wife in the street. I can't remember who it was, but he was like 6'3 and she's like 5'3.
The team didn't even suspend him.

I do see swole's point............there's a HUGE number of players that are upstanding guys.........I mean yeah they may go get their dicks sucked by strippers but let's keep things in perspective...........the true "pieces" are few and far between........but I think what is true is that alot of them never are able to let go of the old life, so they're always at risk for relapsing. You all of a sudden give these guys more money than their respective families have seen in 10 generations..........and you have recipe's for disaster. These guys were raised as unguided missles.........so alot of their behavior "i understand".......maybe not condone, but I understand!! I mean look at the spousal abuse...........these guys come from generations of spousal abuse.........than they get shacked up with women that only wanted them for their money..........and what you have there is a recipe for an assbeating. As I said, I don't condone that............but I can clearly see how it comes to that point...........same with the drug shit.......that's what they're "RAISED" on. Now Vick's shit is special...........I knew guys that have fought their dogs..........mostly the dogs survived whether they won or lost........still cruel no matter what and I don't condone it............but what Vick and his crew were doing is straight evil......end of discussion.........no understanding for that..........they took pleasure in harming animals and came up with their own unique ways of torturing those that didn't "perform to their expectations".
