If you read these articles carefully youll see that these players, Giambi, Bonds if youre referring to them, did not admit it publicly for all to know. They admitted it in a case in which they were told would be kept confidential. They did this to keep themselves out of trouble, and to build up a caee agaisnt someone larger. In there cases it was not a public admition.

These guys aren't just coming out and admitting it (other than Canseco and Caminetti) they are being pressured by the grand jury. The grand jury will say taking the juice is a minor slap on the hand but lying to us is a felony and we'll fry your asses as soon as we put all the pieces together and can prove it. These guys(and girls) are scared to death to lie to the grand jury and they thought their testimony was sealed but somehow it was leaked.

when you testify before a grand jury against something, in this case Balco, you're granted almost total immunity. So they were free to speak their minds, also knowing how bad the punishment is for lying. Obviously they didn't expect the testimony to be leaked so easily.....

This sucks b/c now the government is now going to concentrate on steroids coming in and out of this country. I wish they would just shut the fuck up and play ball. Anyway, steroids will make you big and strong, but the don't teach techique or skill. Obviously, when you get a player like bonds who is an amazing athlete to start using AAS and HGH then he is going to be dangerous as hell. I mean the man is over 40 yrs old and still sugging over 650 and is capable of hitting 70 + HR when he is healthy. DAMN Steroids or not he is still one of the greatest to ever play.

Seriously it was testimony under oath in a Federal Case.......the one against BALCO.

That's the only reason there is any admittance to using AAS, and even that is sworn testimony closed to the public.........so it can't be used by MLB to prosecute those players.

You obviously have no clue about the case. We are not just all of a sudden coming forward and offering all of this evidence..are you serious? Roids have been in the game for decades now. The reason these guys are talking at all is because somebody sent a sample of THG and said that Bsball players and other athletes were taking this non-detactable steroid, provide by Balco..and thats how all this shit got started. We would love it, if we could just shut the fuck up and play ball.
