You get acne on the places where most sebaceous glands are.
Those are chest, back, face, neck.

The overproduction in those glands causes them to clog, there is more secretion of keratine and an increase in the amount of bacteria on location there. The site gets inflamed. That is what causes the acne.

LOL...good point, but what about my butt and "crotchtral" area? It sweats most of all and no zits there!

I got a zit on my shaft once mid cycle. Hurt like hell.

Yes exactly! You forgot to mention one other spot that is rich in sebaceous glands.... the butt.

besides your face which has alot of pores to release toxin, it seems like acne comes in places that your clothes rub against alot. You notice it rubs hair off outside of arms, and on large shoulders and back it does the same thing. Also i get acne on my shoulder blades where they rub against bench when doing presses. Just a thought.
