Women. Trying to decide if one I just met, I should pursue something with. She seems eager, but I'm just thinking still...

I need to get a new job... my budget is very tight right now, and I have too much free time.

Fuck, I'm ready to getback in school, but not taking anything for the first half of the summer. I really need the break, but I feel restless.

I wish my ankle would heal, so I can get around better and hit the gym more. Anywho, I didn't go the gym today, but got a good bicep workout with some dumbells at home. This has me down, but I know I need to stay off of it.

Right now, I'm thinking of a few things I wish I could go back and do differently in life, but know its foolish to dwell on that which you cannot change.
 
good number bran! i did 215 5x5 one week, the next week hit 295x3 and 305x1.

barely been in the gym the past month :bawling: summer semester starts tuesday and it's full on (hopefully cleaner this time) bulking for the summer.
 
Hmmm.... I bitch way to much, but fail to look at the positives. For example I definately take my genetics for granted. I've noticed other guys on C&C mention deadlifts, and I pause, because the first day I ever tried to deadlife I pulled 405.

Fuck, I've been working out 4.5 years now, and am sitting at a fairly lean 229. I'm an honor student, and made a 4.0 the last two semesters. I'm single, but at least I'm not with a nuttcase or in a relationship I hate. I have my health. Family and friends taht care about me. Dispite this, I let the silly, little things get me down. BBF needs to ease up on the bitching I think.

Come on guys, not food. I'm trying to cut and am sitting on my butt letting my ankle heal. I don't need to be craving junk food. LoL

you asshole. the best deadlift I've ever had, and it was when I was MUCH stronger than I am now, was 315 x 8 and it ALMOST KILLED ME.

course I don't weigh 229 but u r still an asshole

I had jsut hit 205 on my squat (weak I know) and now I'm gonna have to start lower when I start training legs again. Damn, my calfs were developing nice too.

Anywho my best stiff-legged dead is 425x 6 so your 315 X 8 isn't bad. I stopped doing conventional deads soem time back.

one of my favorite burgers to make, i do this at home....

nice big fat thick burger, not really too lean of ground beef either, just the regular stuff. i won't cook burgers any other way except on the grill. when i'm getting ready to put the cheese on it, i'll slather it with a load of hot salsa, sometimes i'll also add some pickled jalapino slices. then i'll top it with cheese...take your pick on this one, but my favorite is a habenaro cheese i grab from time to time. toss that thick juicy burger on a slightly toasted bun, top with lettuce and sour cream. :p

I saw this on food network today. It sounds and looks great!!

5 slices bacon, chopped
4 scallions, cleaned and trimmed
Extra-virgin olive oil, for drizzling
1 1/3 pounds ground beef sirloin
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, eyeball it
1 tablespoon steak seasoning blend or coarse salt and black pepper
1/2 pound extra sharp white cheddar cheese, crumbled
1 cup mayonnaise or reduced fat mayonnaise
1 teaspoon ground cumin
Salt and pepper
4 crusty Kaiser rolls, split
4 leaves crisp romaine lettuce



Preheat grill pan over high heat.
In a medium pan brown bacon over medium high heat and drain on paper towel lined plate.

Brush scallions with a little oil and grill on hot grill pan 2 or 3 minutes on each side. Remove from heat to cool.

Combine ground beef with Worcestershire and steak seasoning or salt and pepper. Divide meat into 4 equal parts. Combine cheese crumbles and cooked bacon. Take 1/4 of the meat in your hand and make a well in the center of it. Pile in cheese and bacon, then carefully form the burger around the cheese and bacon filling. Make sure the fillings are completely covered with meat. When all 4 patties are formed, drizzle burgers with oil and place on hot grill pan. Cook 2 minutes on each side over high heat, reduce heat to medium low and cook burgers 7 or 8 minutes longer, turning occasionally. Do not press down on burgers as they cook. Transfer burgers to a plate and let them rest 5 minutes before serving.

Chop cooled, grilled green onions and add to a food processor. Add mayonnaise and cumin to the food processor and pulse the onions and mayonnaise. Season with salt and pepper, to your taste.

Pile burgers on crusty buns and top with crisp lettuce leaves and a slather of green onion mayonnaise. As you bite into the burgers, you will find a smoky, cheesy surprise at the center.

I had some Saga Bleu cheese on Triscuits with red grapes & red wine for my dinner tonite....oh man I love cheese & crackers....

Now I want a grilled cheese......
 
My fiance cuts hair and one of her clients happens to own a few building companies so he's gonna hook us up with a house at cost. So we are currently looking for a piece a acreage to build it on. Problem is trying to find any type of decently sized land that isn't in the middle of nowhere or isn't outrageously expensive.
 
I just got back from visiting my dad in the hospital. So right now Im thinking about him and what he is going through and hoping he comes out of it OK.
 
I'm thinking about how good it feels to be exhausted from working on the house. It's a different kind of physical tiredness than I get working out but it's fulfilling nonetheless. :)
