I was kicked out of an all you can eat sushi buffet today. I want really surprised or upset as I hit my 6th FULL plate of raw salmon and tuna, not to mention this place was a whole in the wall and the buffet was only $12 haha

My buddy and I did in college. First they told us no more roast beef. Then they cut us off and said don't come back. :)

Were you actually upset that they booted you after six full plates of food? Or even surprised?

lol, wow neve happened to me, then again I usually have just a bit of everything to just try and then looots of crab

I used to get kicked out of Onami's Asian buffet all the time. A co-worker and I would be the 1st in line for the lunch rush several times a week, then raid the sushi bar, and only eat the sashimi slices. They'd get upset that we weren't filling up on the rice. Plus we usually made thing with the little rice oval's, like snakes or sometimes we stacked them into pyramids on the table.

I got kicked out of a Cocos for taking advantage of their all you can eat oatmeal

they even tried to lie and say they were "out of oatmeal"...wtf?

I always lol at the fat fucks who make the news for being booted from all you can eat buffets. Look, it's a business, motherfucker. you paid 7 bucks and ate ten whole chickens. You didn't get cheated out of jack shit.

Yeah, well then they should not say ALL YOU CAN EAT

come on dude, you don't have to have an IQ of 150 to understand that if you are eating them out of house and home, you are putting them in a financial hole. If you are eating food that would normally feed ten people, you are being abusive to the deal, and a dick. I think people who get kicked out in these situations totally deserve it. Most people are able to go into places like that, eat normal quantities of food, and be full. They shouldn't have to alter an otherwise successful business model to limit the people who are gluttonous pigs with no regard for anything but the black hole they call a stomach.

I know its not cool for people to be pigs like that, but you don't have to have an IQ of 150 to realize there are some people like that. If you say "all you can eat", then you are setting yourself up. You should mean what you say, all the time, in any situation. If you don't mean it, don't say it.

Sure, restaurant owners know there are people like that. So they kick them out when it happens. Pretty simple lol.

They are delivering on their promise just fine to the people who aren't being complete dicks about it, so I have no problem with them drawing the line when said dicks decide to try to eat the entire inventory.

Me and my buddies got kicked out of a Chinese buffet cause as soon as they brought out the crab legs we took them all after the third time of re filling them a little Chinese bastard told us to get out

Haha no, not at all, I go there every Thursday for my refeed, well the only difference is I am 3 weeks into an AAS cycle so I ate significantly more. I was not surprised at all, by the looks on their faces I saw it coming, they were polite about it. I will be going back next Thursday haha

Seriously?? Over fucking lousy oatmeal haha. I can understand shushi, but If they cut me off from oatmeal I'd tell them to fuck off

Me and three other degenerate friends got booted from the Circus Circus buffet for eating too much frost n serve ice cream. Not to mention we smelled like bourbon, pot, vomit and strippers.

We totally deserved it.

I got kicked out of an all you can eat after just one plate of food !

....apparently they dont like it when you take your cock out at the table.:whatever:

I've never eaten nor will I ever eat at a buffet, but they are big up here in Montreal. These places are usually laced with slobs, pigs and cheapskates, so yes I think these places need to add a clause stating that it's "all you can eat" in reasonable amounts.
They cannot change the advertising about "all you can eat" because that's what brings in the swines.

But yes, abuse the rules, see ya later.

How can any human eat so much at one sitting?! ugh! sick!

Typically A buffet is something I steer clear of, but for sushi it's a different story, as for being kicked out i was completely ok with it

I forgot about ichiban. Its been a yr prolly but I've been given the evil eye by staff for going overboard on sushi rolls, mussels, boiled shrimp, etc. I can see a place like that getting pissed... cost/lb is a different ballgame when its mashed potatoes versus sashimi.

Since i apparently (ahem) offended someone here, I'm gonna clarify that the people I was calling gluttons/fat/etc were specifically the folks who are asked to leave and then decide to call in the news vans, start protests, yadda yadda because they feel cheated for not being allowed to eat 100 dollars worth of food for 7 dollars. No one is entitled to eat a business into the ground, and also I know that not every person who is asked to leave a buffet is fat. I wasn't talking about athletes/body builders/etc (but i still don't feel sorry for you for the expense of the calories you need to maintain because both are a choice of lifestyle). I support a business' right to ask a person to leave who is eating too much, but I have zero problem with the people who eat to the point of being asked to leave, but then behave like gentlemen about that request. that is all.

stop being such a douche - lol

I've seen it on the news but I don't understand how they can just kick out someone. its not like you dont see it coming from the some of bigger folks coming in.

What do you propose as an alternative? Let them eat everything so other customers have nothing to eat? End a meal deal that normally makes them a decent amount of money when people eat responsibly? I see nothing wrong with drawing the line somewhere and neither should any reasonable human being. I have less of a problem with the people who eat a lot than I do the people who can't respect when that line is drawn. They are offering you a privilege, not a right.

care to tell us who you offended, so we can send some reds their way?

nah. This person chose to take their uhhh displeasure, we'll call it, out on me privately, I'm assuming to avoid public drama...I'm not gonna out them, as i also prefer to avoid public drama. I'm not thrilled by the tone in which it was handled, but I used to have a good relationship with said angry person and do not wish to have them dragged through the mud on my behalf.

I got kicked out of a cocaine buffet once

How about this analogy:
You go to Vegas. this Casino says "pay 5 bucks and whoever guesses the lucky number wins the pot."
So, you pay, and then guess the number, and there's a million bucks in the pot. But they tell you, "Here's a thousand bucks. You can't expect to win a million just for guessing 1 stupid number can you?"

is the amount of plates you can eat in fine print somewhere of all you can eat buffet? Im still confused, how they are able to kick you guys out. they just came up to you and said you cant eat any more?

will have to smoke herbs with my friend and try this one day and see if we can eat enough to get kicked out.lol

A guy was checkin me out this morning at the gym in the lockers so I invited his limp wristed ass to the all you can get ass kickin buffet.
He didn't want to go tho. :worried:

....well.
it was "Can I help you?" then silence. :redhot:
But it might as well been "Can I help you to the ass kickin buffet?" with the look i gave him. That shit bothers the hell outta me when teh gay take advantage of being in ur locker room.

a million bucks is a fixed quantity, while all you can eat is an abstract concept. the fact that you can't stay an a-y-c-e buffet for the rest of your life means that it is already subject to some sort of owner discretion.

Interesting angle. Very good, counselor.
