the second half is called basic training...like bootcamp cept for fire science.

Compared to my former life I am a hermit, took huge hits on my mood because I am so social. I still feel isolated as I don't have the huge circle group of friends I had before. I don't talk to most of them regularly for various reasons, used to be that my phone rang 24x7 and there were too many social events to attend in any given day.

Working from home doesn't help in that regard. I get out as much as I can to see clients and do entertainment events with them - and get out on a purely social basis every other weekend or so.

Building up a new group... but it's different I can't be 'that guy' anymore that everyone looks to for the next fun thing since my priority is my daughter now.
