However, when she does go home..I could soooo see her as part of the Lion King cast on Broadway. She's got quite the mane.

I could care less if he was gay. I had no problem with his choices in that area of his life....However, I had serious issues with him making it to the top 12 if he was stripping. They sent some chick home a few years back for naked pics showing up on the net. They did not want her representing an idol figure.

Double standard-IMO.

Yeah but they didn't send Antonella Barba home. I think they've changed their ways.

I thought David was more compelling/interesting than some of the other people. However I think it's almost certainly down to the Aussie dude vs. Brooke White. That woman is amazing.


Amanda Overmeyer--Holy crap how is she even still in it?
Irish Chick--had her opportunity, didn't work out then, why should this time be different?
Chikezie--fun to watch cos he thought it was over last week so he's all out. Great to see unfettered joy like that but still not an Idol
David Archuleta--amazing but too young and f'ed up this week
Missouri Rocker--I just don't get him but could be a dark horse
Dreadlock--too nice, too "college dorm," hair has more personality than he does
Country Chick--will make it a few more weeks based on her smokin hawtness. The Kelly Pickler of 2008.
Black Chick--OK but she MOYDOYED that Beatles song
Ramielle--she's a singer, not a star.


My fave 4 are Aussie, Black Dude, Piano Girl, and David Archuleta

I preferred David Hernandez over Amanda, Carly, Mizzou, Dread, Country, and Ramielle.

I like Piano Girl (Brooke) and D. Archuleta as well, but they're both "ballad" singers.

Their styles won't be readily adaptable to other genres.

I thought David was NOT the person who should have gone home last night either. Country bumpkin was my first pick.

However, I have to wonder if MAYBE David WAS NOT in the bottom 12 either. Perhaps this was Idol's way to drop him without causing a big hoo ha in public about his "side job". Feel me?

I like Amanda's style and voice. Granted, her voice IS better suited for hard rock and blues. I like that though. She will not win, but I like the thought of a new rocker chick winning. We need another Pat Benetar type chick in rock today.
