But if it puts your mind to rest know that until all of Israel "converts" to Christianity the end of the world is still some time off.

The confusion comes from Protestant attempts to remove "Catholicism" from the Christian faith. Hence we get inane 150-160 year old theories like the Rapture, scouting for anything with three sixes in it, and other faulty concepts.

The most annoying is that Christ will come back to rule on earth for 1000 years and then leave so people can be tricked by the devil into losing their souls. From hence falls most of the other end of time theory errors.

The Catholic Church is the intermediate reign of Christ on earth until the Second Coming. The only definite statement on the end of times is "he will come to judge the living and the dead"

That's it.

By removing that premise to reject Church authority we get all the other nonsense and people worrying that they will be bar coded or tattoed with threee numbers.
