Who's cycled 10+ years?

El Hefe

I'm curious to know how many of you have cycled 10+ years without it resulting in TRT?

I know there are plenty (including myself) whose first cycle was 10+ years ago, but we haven't cycled consistently (2+ cycles per year) the entire time.

My guess is that these people are few and far between. Seems like most vets are now on TRT.

I think a lot of trt is by choice. Not all, but I imagine many don't care to go through the process of trying to recover so they opt for the trt route. The human body is quite resilient and capable of great things, And given a proper chance with honest effort, I believe alot of self administered trt candidates could infect recover this day and age. I have no science to back this , but I do know myself and a few others have used pretty heavily off and on and have always recovered in due time. I don't advocate this and I take a much more " less is more" approach these days compared to previous years .

I have a few clients who have been on cycles for about 12 years 2-3 cycles/year (short). I don't recommend it, but you can't stop freewill.

i'm about halfway there.

i only run 2-3 cycles per year. 6-7 months of the year I am on total... and the rest I am natty.

i've recovered fine after each cycle except for the first time i ran deca lol. but back then i didn't know how to pct, just went by internet parroting.

i think the reason behind just staying on is the mental inability to lose any mass/strength you had already put on.. people aren't willing to take 2 steps forward and 1 step back.. i do believe that this is a healthy strategy because it allows your body to catch up. it is suicide to start out running steroids and just stay on!!! because your body will always have parts that are behind that steroids have aided you in pushing forward... guys that jump in it will 100% of the time end up getting injured.

if you want to blast and cruise or just stay on then atleast give it a few years of cycling to allow your body to adapt and plus mentally you will be able to commit to this life.

Imagine what you'd look like after 10 years of cycling. Considering you had a base beforehand and ate correctly, you'd be huge.

I really got to know my body, its limits and it what it takes to progress.. both diet wise and training wise by being natural for so long. I think my biggest strong point is my ability to manipulate my diet and training to get the results I'm after. I wouldn't have been nearly as in touch with knowing what my body needs if I would have jumped on the juice early.

Now that I'm using AAS to take things further, I'm hoping to build a monster in the next 8 years :D

Probably won't take anywhere near that long considering how long you've already been training :)

I'm hoping it won't, because to be honest I font want to cycle that long. I'm guessing another 4-5 years will put me where I want to be. You never know that you will ever be satisfied in this lifestyle, but I really don't want to be blasting a lot of AAS going into my 50s

You don't recommend cycling for that period of time? Or are you saying another method would be more effective?

I agree a lot of guys can't except the muscle and strength loss and simply stay on.

I think there's also conservative users out there who know how to cycle, run proper pct and have for years, but eventually choose a blast n' cruise to avoid the stressful crash (or at least sharp drop) of coming off. One could argue that coming off AAS (even with a dynamic pct) 3 times a year is hard on your system.

If I read and remember correctly, I believe you recently posted about possibly considering a blast n' cruise. Did I read you right? I know you know how to cycle and recover correctly. So what might cause you to consider a BNC?

I started my first cycle (PH only) a little over two years ago, and only been pinning for about a year. I got a late start at 36, and I'm glad I waited.

Rick, am I correct thy you recently started a self-prescribed TRT? I think I remember you saying a while back that you were having some problems recovering from a cycle even with a very extensive PCT. How did that go? Is that what led you to TRT?

I only ask because it seems like I've seen a lot of conservative users over the years who know how to properly cycle, pct and recover but they only do so for so long. Eventually, it seems like either

1. They start to have increased difficulty recovering.

Or

2. They opt for the slightly more stable environment of blast n' cruise. Albeit more suppressive.

This will be my 10th year, have slowed down lately due to having a family...looking to start up again in a week

1 word COMPETING.

If i am gonna do it its a must to stay on instead of timing a cycle perfectly. this was my mistake and why i wasn't able to compete last spring.. i was coming off cycle at the wrong time and by the time i went back on i only had 4 weeks to prepare which I did not feel was putting me on an even playing field with my competition.

if i do pick a comp to play then i'm gonna stay on for the 6 months preceding it to give me the best shot to do well.

but i have no plans to do that right now with other things going in my life and getting a new business off the ground

Any TRT or BNC?

Did you cycle all 10 of those years? How have your T levels changed over that period? Presumably, your T levels have dropped some naturally, but in your opinion has the cycling further lowered your T.

A bit of TRT bro...honestly...I started at 23...I got my core from a good var only cycle..I started at 190 and ended that cycle at 210lbs...after that I went to injectables...I started injectables at the age of 25...I started doing pretty much every compound except Anadrol, Halo, EQ (which I still want to try) I went up to 245lbs and kept it all...I have to thank proper pct for that...

I'm 33 now...I found my test levels lowered maybe a little..not much though! I haven't been hitting the gym as much in the last 2 years because of kids taking all my time....I'm 248lbs as of today...haven't touched aas in 6 months....my body is really good at maintaining...I don't look smaller, but I can def feel a little soft....

Tren was really the only AAS that messed with me after cycle...I won't touch it again...

Damn, that's not bad, 190-245 and kept it all!

You said 'a bit of TRT' and also that 'you haven't touched AAS in 6 months'? So you did some TRT and then stopped? For how long and how was the transition stopping TRT?
