More often than not I believe you'll find their so-called partner either doen't help raise the children, or he's such a bum that he's not even around any longer.

That is so true.
I especially like it when the father says, "I'm going sailing, you'll have to baby-sit the kid."

Baby-sit?
A parent baby-sits?

Ok - I won't go there - totally off topic.

Sorry, I get sick of hearing man bashing, women that complain that their husbands don't do anything. There are plenty of responsible fathers and there are plenty of mothers that are trash. When the word "DeadBeat" is mentioned it always seems to involve only the man.
No I don't have kids, but that is my CHOICE not to have any. I know that I have to work all day and can't take care of a baby. That's why I have made sure that I don't have a child.

Everyong knows that a bitch's place is at home in the kitchen getting food prepared for when her man comes home from work.....

lol.....(j/k) ;)

Hey Wfab, don't you think life was simpler when that was the accepted way of life?

I'm probably going to piss off a lot of people by saying this......but yeah I do.

I'm sorry, but the modern age of industrialism and nuclear families has really taken its toll on the human race. In order to survive both parents must work and that leaves the kid(s) by themselves to learn how to assimilate into society.

It's totally fucked up. My wife is a career minded woman who is a college graduate and all, but luckily she also believes that when the time comes for us to have a child, she wants to stay home to raise him/her.

IMO, that's the way it should be. The best situation, is for an extended family to exist where other family members take care of the children while both parents work if need be. That's how my family does it and it works out pretty well. We all need to function as family units.

I want a houseboy.

I'll hire a cleaning person and you just have to keep house and tend to the cars, the dogs and the trash.

;)

If you know me, you already know what it is I'm looking for and if you don't - here's my wheel scrubber and chrome polish.

p.s. That way of life may have worked in the 50's and it was good. But wake up MOMMA this isn't the 50's.

Maybe you guys just got the shit end of the stick. I work in an industry that employs many women, and for the most part they are hardworking and underpaid. I feel for them, because more often than not their job is more physically demanding than mine but i make twice the money that any one of them makes even though some of them have been with the company twice as long as I. Then as far as the child thing goes - next time you get the chance ask one of them women if their husband does anything to help that situation out. More often than not I believe you'll find their so-called partner either doen't help raise the children, or he's such a bum that he's not even around any longer. Try raising a family by yourself - then you can complain what women do and don't do. just my 2 cents worth.

Actually, I do raise my two kids, ages 14 and 10 pretty much alone. I have majority custody and their mother only sees them about once a week- thats a whole another story. I NEVER have taken my kids into my work- at least not while on the job, and certainly don't inflict MY life on other employees. I would be pissed if I had to deal with that kind of situation while at work. The woman had sex to have them, and I wasn't there, so I don't want to deal with her consequences. Her home life is HER problem, not anyone else's and if she picked some macho shithead who doesn't help her with the kids, I don't sympathasize- there were plenty of nice guys she could have hooked up with. And neither men nor women should be dealing with their relationships at the office- leave it at home- or go home to deal with it.
