I liked it, I guess thats more geared toward the theatrics aspect of it. The singing was funky sounding but probably the sound system who knows.

They had huge sound issues. Performing at the Superbowl is always an issue because of the noise. My guess is that whoever fucked up the sound mix for broadcast also didn't have the singer's voices coming back in their earpiece monitors because every single one of the Black Eyed Peas was flat.

I've seen Fergie perform live and she actually can sing when she can hear herself.

That's what I thought too...sounded flat a off key a few times, like they couldn't hear each other either. I didn't like Fergie singing G&R either but I'm one of those old Axle fans from back in the day.
