No this would be more like an "Exclusive Club" than a Plat membership.

It would make the plat look second rate and virtually all newbies would not be invited to this "exclusive" club. Doesn't help memberships ($$ for EF).

That is the point of an invite Forum/Board. If you had been to a source board like Satch described, you would understand better. It is not like Plat,where you buy your way in. (Yes, you would pay more for this Titanium membership, but you have to be known and liked to get in and you still pay)

Any type of source posting will draw attention from "others"--secure or not (there really is no 100% secure on the net).

So I guess if Bonkme2 were put in charge of this it would be cool then, right? The point I am trying to get across is that some people have issues with others for whatever reasons and this would cause issues (trust me).

• $12 a month buy 3 you get one free = 4mos <$36.00.
• Surely no one pays one month at a time when they can buy 3 and get one free.

I could see some ebooks being included (older ones that do not sell as much anymore). I am sure we can work on Daisy for the nudes (she gets $1 for each membership sold).

Here is another idea....how about they just add the things you want to the current platinum membership.....it would improve membership subscriptions and revenue for EF.

how about a secured 'open source' board where by INVITE only!
vipbb.com is exactly that. they only have about 300 members but each member has been around for a long time and has many solid refs.

i think it would be great to this board.

I think a lot of this discussion is either saying or directly implying that. I'd still be somewhat concerned about man-in-the-middle or a confiscation though. It's ultimately still the question of WHO REALLY is on the other side.

I'm not sure elite fitness would. I work in computer security and am well aware of what can occur and has been done. Which is where my paranoia comes into play. If someone gets busted and their computer gets confiscated, what protective mechanisms are in place? What is the authentication process for the individual? And if the information being moved from one user's computer to the board and from the board back to the individual user's computer isn't encrypted, it's as good as open to anyone wanting to scan the IP packets to/from the elitefitness.com site.

I'm not against the concept of this by any means. I LOVE the idea. I just have a reasonable paranoia about it.

Exactly...roids are an illegal substance (why??) and discussing sources via the internet is almost like discuss cocaine sources...both will eventually get someone in trouble. You join and EF has everything except some blood and urine (info meaning address, CC numbers, etc)-if anything happens, where do you think your info will be?? EF is very careful and knows exactly what they can and cannot do (notice the immediate deletion of source posts.) I just may not be worth the risk....

Things to think about:::

1. Maybe there already is an secret exclusive members board and me and strongsmartsexy are just playing dumb....

2. What happens if this gets the ok are you are not invited...wouldn't that suck....

I agree, but none of them are at VIP and they dont know what we are talking about. It is a grand idea, but they arent ready my man. No one is trying to change your mind strongsexy or avernip. You dont like it ,okay now stop going on and on. You might not get invited anyway. So just let it go, it is a good idea .

Whether I'm invited or not isn't relevant. Underestimating the utilities the feds will use to discover things from an electronic/internet perspective is significant. If the underlying movement of information across the internet is not encrypted, it's open game. If it is encrypted, then the encryption/key sharing method needs to be of such a technical means as to not allow for man-in-the-middle attacks. The end user failure, where a person who is "in" is compromised due to a bust and starts cooperating with LE to reduce their sentence needs to be considered also.
