This reminds me of something I read about Lee Priest. He said that he likes it when he gets fat. Supposedly the little fucker gets up to about 280 lbs @ 5'4''. :worried:

i'm sorry i dont wanna get flamed but i dont think 5"4 280 lbs is possible...

im sure it is bro...if 6'1 400 offseason for greg kovacs is possible..then yeah it def is...

i prefer staying lean year round recently..the last few months..i find i look and feel better about myself..i look bigger when im leaner, more impressive...i dont need to rest as much between sets, and it makes dieting a helluva lot easier when u say 9% or lower year round like most of the top level pros do...

im prob 8% now, and dont plan on going over that really, or 9% the max..sure i can add some bodyfat in the offseason when im bulking..but if u do it right, u can gain alot of muscle with minimal fatgain..getting over 9% in my opinion has no point unless u want to lift heavier poundages in the gym, boost the ego a lil...totally my opinion though. im sure some will disagree...as hardly anyone at my gym is even at 9%..

Bro,
I hate to disagree, but I honestly don't think hardly any of the top level pros stay at 9% or lower bodyfat year round like you stated in this post. I can't think of ANY of the ones I've seen guest posing or training in the offseason that were 9% or lower. The ones I have seen are probably around 15%-16%, with some probably a little higher than that.
Just my two cents.

i don't think the stay that low either

i stay lean year round. try to not go above 12%. this year was really good to me. kept my cardio high during my bulk, added 10 pounds, and when i started to lean down i am 6 pounds heavier now than november when i started my bulk (came back from my honeymoon at 177 - left at 180 - and got to 187 by april - i'm 183 now and am as lean as when i was 177). i only run 1 cycle a year too, so my bulk is natural. i cant get fat anymore. i got up to 220 doing that shit in the past. i now stay between 180 and 190 at 5'5".
