i prefer staying lean year round recently..the last few months..i find i look and feel better about myself..i look bigger when im leaner, more impressive...i dont need to rest as much between sets, and it makes dieting a helluva lot easier when u say 9% or lower year round like most of the top level pros do...
im prob 8% now, and dont plan on going over that really, or 9% the max..sure i can add some bodyfat in the offseason when im bulking..but if u do it right, u can gain alot of muscle with minimal fatgain..getting over 9% in my opinion has no point unless u want to lift heavier poundages in the gym, boost the ego a lil...totally my opinion though. im sure some will disagree...as hardly anyone at my gym is even at 9%..
