I'd be surprised BIG TIME if WWIII doesn't happen in early 2003. Economic collapse isn't much soothsaying. If nukes get used and billions die, I doubt the stock market will do well.
Early 2003, the international community will ram an preconceived peace plan down Israel's and the PLO's throat to solve the mideast conflict once and for all (so they arrogantly believe). They will have to submit to the plan or face military consequences. Part of this plan will divide the much-disputed Temple Mount and permit not only access to the Jews but allow them to begin construction of a temple.

as far as i know they already started rebuilding the temple mount, and the red hefier was born this year etc. it's all falling into place...we will see

I don´t think that the current economy will suffer too much.
GWB is making a lot of depts, that money will help in 2003 and maybe the next one.
