Who smokes?

i used to smoke. i quit for about 2 years. found out i was diabetic. you know that diet you go on when you're getting ready for a show- low, low carbs. i'm on that for life now, unless i want to take insulin, which i do not. i am now a closet smoker. when the sugar cravings get really intense, i light up. now is that healthy or what?:D
 
KARSON, there is no easy way to quit. The patches work good for the first few weeks. Drink lots of water and just keep yourself occupied. Also, don't over eat and if there are any foods that you used to have to smoke after eating, don't eat them. Coffee? Kiss it goodbye... It's for the better. Really. Only seems like hell for the first month or two... :D

Yeah, we complain, it smells bad!!!!!! I can't believe I used to smell like that, how embarrassing. I feel bad that I made other people smell that too. Yuck!!!!

Alli, I gave up sugar, but when I crave something sweet, I eat dried fruit. Raisons, dates, cherries, pineapple and banana chips. Try it.

banana chips are really fatty.

isn't that weird - i have completely given up sugar except for a tsp of brown sugar on my oatmeal in the morning.... i don't ever want it. but i ALWAYS want salt and grease.

it' been hard to wean myself off... i haven't been able to yet because my deprivation has made me worse.
 
I am not giving up my nana chips, it's not like I eat very much of anything else that is bad. :p
