I think you all are weak! I used to smoke a pack of Marlboro's a day for 3 years but I haven't touched that shit for almost 2 years.

What's your opinion on cigars? I love em. I have one once a month or so. Got a nice humidor in my room for whenever I get a jonesin for one.
 
I like to two fist a pair of cigarettes, walk around acting cool... then I hang with some of the cool smokers outside... start some chit chat as they stare at my double fisted cigarette action, then right when they don't expect it... I shove the glowing butts into their eyes and run.

I never discovered what was so great about cigarettes, I guess thats a good thing. Sometimes I feel like nonsmokers are in the minority, especially when I go out.
 
Exactly my point. I was at a bar last night and they were giving away free cigarettes. FUCKIN' IDIOTS. As if the bar wasn't crowded enough, it was full of smoke. When I got home and got on EF I almost threw up cuz my clothes reeked of the shit.

Know what else looks cool? When a good lookin' girl is sitting at the bar and smoke pours out of her mouth as she's speaking. That's ALMOST a turn on. Fuckin' nasty bitches. WHY WHY WHY?:rolleyes:
 
When I was a player, Girls that smoked were a BIG turnOFF.

Even today. I'll be checking out some honey and then see her light up. I immediately stop looking

just dont put down crack smokers, then i would be pissed. seriously, any suggestions on help quitting. Its very hard to do, i just quit after 8 years monday
 
I hate smoking. I think it is a sign of mental weakness and lack of self discipline. I would never even date a girl who smoked.

I used to smoke and now when I smell cigs I think it smells like shit. :(

anyone remember that ad with kids on saturday mornings "smokings gross - yuuuck!" and tehy had ashes on their tongues? icky.
 
I don't smoke cigarettes. It doesn't bother me if someone does, its fine w/ me just as long as it ain't done in my car and they don't blow it at me.

Both my parents smoked, my grandmother quit cold turkey after she had to get operated on back in '95. My step mom and step sister smoke, but my old man makes them do it outside, and the girl I'm dating now smokes. It never bother me as long as they follow my 2 rules about it.
 
Well i smoke one pack marlboro every day. I have been smokin sicne i was 13 and now i'm 22.

It suks ass! I will try to quit it. Hope that i can do that before it is too late.
 
i used to smoke. i quit for about 2 years. found out i was diabetic. you know that diet you go on when you're getting ready for a show- low, low carbs. i'm on that for life now, unless i want to take insulin, which i do not. i am now a closet smoker. when the sugar cravings get really intense, i light up. now is that healthy or what?:D
 
KARSON, there is no easy way to quit. The patches work good for the first few weeks. Drink lots of water and just keep yourself occupied. Also, don't over eat and if there are any foods that you used to have to smoke after eating, don't eat them. Coffee? Kiss it goodbye... It's for the better. Really. Only seems like hell for the first month or two... :D

Yeah, we complain, it smells bad!!!!!! I can't believe I used to smell like that, how embarrassing. I feel bad that I made other people smell that too. Yuck!!!!

Alli, I gave up sugar, but when I crave something sweet, I eat dried fruit. Raisons, dates, cherries, pineapple and banana chips. Try it.

isn't that weird - i have completely given up sugar except for a tsp of brown sugar on my oatmeal in the morning.... i don't ever want it. but i ALWAYS want salt and grease.

it' been hard to wean myself off... i haven't been able to yet because my deprivation has made me worse.
 
I am not giving up my nana chips, it's not like I eat very much of anything else that is bad. :p

I still smoke and yes I want to quit but will do it whe I am good and ready meaning when I am fed up like you former smokers were.
I don't blow smoke in non smokers faces and I mind my own business.
I have to say congrats for those who have quit but at the same time like someone said above its the former smokers who do the most bitching and whining.They seem to forget that they were assholes just like we smokers were at one time. Sorry like I said congrats on quitting but its the ones who never started that deserve the most respect, not the ones who smoked around the non smokers for years, quit and got on a soapbox belittling the very people they used to be like.

You're gonna quit when you're good and ready, eh? From the way you make it sound you mean: I am so mentally weak that I won't stop until I can't take people ridiculing me anymore. What kind of shit is that?! If that's what it takes then throw those fuckin' things out and chew some gum or something. Does it please you every time you inhale that grey cloud of death and let it saturate your lungs with all that tar? Ever wonder what you smell like to people who don't smoke?
This is in no way a personal attack, Milhouse, but you make it sound like you need someone to keep harping on you to quit. Why even get fed up by people like me? Quit for YOURSELF, and then do the bitching. ;)
 
What I am saying is whether I smoke or not is my fucking business and nobody elses. And as far as "being fed up " is concerned it has nothing to do with the ex smokers moaning and pissing like a bunch of reformed whores telling me every time I smoke they are smoking one too. If thats the case then I guess they owe me half a pack lol. "Being fed up like you ex smokers" means one morning I wake up like you did and say "nope, I ain't smoking anymore"

Why is it everbody spouts about us being able to have the freedom to smoke weed, do other softcore drugs or steroids as all of which have a downside if used or abused longterm yet as soon as somebody says they smoke the politically correct jump all over em?I can think of things that happen in society that are 10 times worse than some poor schmoe lighting up a fag.

Don't analyze me and come up that I am weak because I smoke. I am sure if I spent a couple days with any so called strong minded individuals I could find out what bad habits they have. And we all have bad habits, just some of us can admit it thats the difference.

I don't go around blowing smoke in non smokers faces so I think the ex smokers who rant about it should stop blowing smoke up everbody's ass cause its quite hypocritical. Instead of ranting maybe offer suggestions like some of you have about your experience quitting, how you got thru withdrawal and what things you do today to keep you from picking it up again. Just my 2 cents.

And by the way I would feel this way about what I just said even if I never picked up a cigarette in my life. To each his own.

Milhouse, it is okay, sweetie. You quit when you are ready, you are the only one who can do it.

I can't help hating the smell of cigs. I just can't stomach the smell.

Friday night my friend and I went to a club and it was very smoky, I didn't complain though, I was too busy shaking my booty. :D

they are attempting to do the same thing in Toronto on June 1st.

They tried to do it in 1998 but it backfired after 2 weeks but whether or not it passes it will happen sooner or later down the road regardless.
