Who powerlifts alone???

i would highly reccommend getting training partners (yes plural) to everyone. PL is a sport of competition. having people to train with is a priceless weapon because they give you someone to compete with every time that you step foot in the gym to train. if the person is stronger than you, you are always competing to surpass them. if you are stronger than them, you are always trying to stay stronger than them.

this is true, if you can find like-minded people, but in my area it seems as if i'm the only one....I try to get others interested but after one workout, they say it's too hard or come up with some lame excuse about their back hurting......I was going for a PR with three boards one day and when i got up i looked like a vampire my eyes were so bloodshot and a guy near me said, "that's ridiculous" and i said "what?" and he said " trying to lift that heavy"............what a motherfu(kin moron.......I'll just keep training alone.
