Who Likes 'Star Wars'?

What do you think about the casting of that guy who is gonna play "Darth Vader? Will this next one beat "Titanic", or will it be a flop. (By the way,.........I heard Jar Jar will have a "very small role" in EP II)

Hayden Christensen looks like he will do alright playing a 20'something year old Anakin Skywalker. Certainly better than that dipshit kid did in Ep. 1.

hehehe....remember this line, "yeepee!"? That little kid sucked, and his career in Hollywood is finished because of that line!

I don't think Ep2 will get anywhere close to Titanic's box office record... If Ep1 didn't beat it then I don't think Ep2 will cause a lot of people were dissapointed with Ep1... Enough so that they say then might not bother going to the theater to watch it.

Jar Jar?... Well, he's much of the reason that people hated Ep1, so no wonder they're going to tone him down for Ep2. Too bad it's too late for that... The damage was done in Ep1.

hhmmm....I don't know. I think George wants to cater to a more "mature" audience with EP II. He said it will be a "love story". EP III will be for the hardcore action freaks and will be "very dark". I think EP II will beat EP I, but not beat Titanic. Just think, everyone who saw EP I will be almost "guranteed" to see II, so at least the box office receipts will be equal to I. I'm a Star Wars junkie (it's not an obsession) so I will be there.

So not many people were expecting much from Ep 2 after they saw Ep 1... Add the fact the the title has most people reeling, I think there is very little chance Ep 2 will beat Ep 1 in the box office.

I agree.. 'Attack of the Clones' sounds like some Disney Channel movie. Actually, I think it comes on this Wednesday at 9pm, right after 'Surf Ninjas'.

That title was perfect for that movie and probably helped to make it a hit.

George Lucas has lost touch of what made the first three movies succesful. He is too caught up with special effects and marketing. The next two SW movies are sure to be disapointments. He should have swalloed his pride and found someone else to write, cast, and direct these films. A whole culture was brought up on these films and there are many great minds that could have lent a helping hand. .

I won't get into how much I loath episode 1. There's not enough space on this board to describe how disapointed I was with that film. All real Sar Wars fans (at least the ones who grew up on the original trilogy) will agree with me.

However, if you haven't seen it already, download the second trailer for Ep.2. It is fucking amazing! Very, very dark. I really hope the movie reflects the trailer. I'm praying Lucas doesn't fuck this up, and brings some dignity back to the franchise.

Yep episode 1 sucked ass.It was a kids film,with the only highlight being the final duel between Maul,and the jedi's.I thought ray parks character was very underused and they shouldn't have killed him off so quickly.Ray park is not involved at all in the 2nd one although he had shown interest in even choregraphing the fight scenes which i thought were excellent.Heard that jeet lei is doing the choregraphing in this one i hope they dont use that fighting on strings shit.Also the heavy reliance on C.G.I detracted from the film i thought.That droid battle scene looked like a computer game.
What i would like to see is more reliance on good make up and sets rather than computer graphics,more interplanetary action,with a few space fights,a good baddie that has more than three lines and no cuddley,furry or cute characters.
