Damn why isn't this guy competing in the big leagues?

Vic's been around for a long time. Started competing in the early 80's (at age 17 or 18). He's fuggin huge. Well over 300 lbs in competition shape. Genetic freak. He realized very early on the politics that taints BBing comps, and he believes that BBing is for the individual and should be done not to win fame and trophies but just for the love of it. Always been a fan of "Thick Vic".

I think Vic was making more money just as a bodybuilder than being a pro. Some of the competitions he did do he was too smooth. He is also a personal trainer last I knew. Lots of big strong guys that never go on stage. Sorta lets you know how overrated that whole thing is.

Damn would love to see him in the Olympia....he's definately a top contender in my books

That's for the link CEO

I just remember reading an interview with him where he was talking about how you should never drink a meal. He always eats real food. A couple years later he has his own line of powders. Guess the money is real good. Also remember an interview with Corey Everson where she said she "abhores tanning beds". Not too long after that I see a poster of her at the gym standing next to a tanning bed with a big smile. I really don't like it when people don't stand by their convictions.

Do you really think EVERY pro bodybuilder and their grandmothers believe that Muscletech's Nitro Tech packs on 14 lbs of lean muscle in 11 days?? No. But Muscletech has great marketing and pays it's athletes great money, so they do it...it's the same with any sport....athletes need to be sponsered...do you think special food and juice grows on tress??

I remember reading an article about how much money some of these Olympians spend on food....

Did you know that Jay Cutler spends $2000 on food per week?? That's $8000 a month. wtf is he eating?? small villages?

it's incredible how big he is AND still has a flat stomach....no gh gut

How is that even possible? Really? If I had a wide open budget with no limits, i could probably spend $5-600 a week. That would let me eat 3-5 lb of fillet every day. Plus everything else I could ever need to get 5-6000 cals ED. I couldnt imagine where you would spend $2000 a week.
You sure that wasnt for his AAS shopping? That would be much more believable.

On another hilarious note, I remember reading my first big Vic interview back in 93' or so and they said he eats 12,000 calories ED. :p

it's not right...2k a week is off, there is a video on youtube where he's shopping and says what he spends on food a week. i can't remember the number, but it wasn't close to 2k a week.

bro, no offense but i eat about 8000 calories a day...some days more when im bulking...i go up to 10,000 calories

well i spend about $50 per day on food when im bulking....that's

7 x 50 = $350 per week. I'd imagine someone as big as Cutler would need to spend at least 3 times that = 3 x $350 = 1150$

damn yeh $2000 seems off lol...well that's what the issue in Flex said so meh....he was also praising Nitro tech, which completely illiminates any credibility the article may have

$1000 wk for an olympia competitor I could believe.

and btw...how the fuck do you eat 10,000 cals a day?? let alone 8k. I know JoeD used to eat 8k and he said it consumed every waking moment of his life. He was even setting his alarm th get up and eat mid sleep.

i didnt eat mid sleap. i slept at 2 different times of the day so i could get a few meals between. but i always cleared 8000 cals. i ate just about non stop when i was awake. and the little time i wasnt eating i was in the gym or drinking milk.

lets not forget cutler is verry wealthy. he is also on the road a lot. i will asume he is eating fancy hotel meals a lot. and $25-$50 cuts of steak while he is home. within the last year our business has taken a pretty big hit so i buy cheap chicken and london broils but before that it was t-bones and cornish hens and my grocerie bill was rediculous.

Ok, I thought you had said before that you woke up to eat.

Yeah, cutler being loaded doesnt hurt either.

I get what you're saying, but it takes bigger balls not to become a sellout. That's whats wrong with this world today, too many sellouts. Stand tall, even if you're the only one standing.
