Especially his head.....

I lol'ed @ Machida beating fathead Ortiz. I lol'd harder when he got all pissed because Machida wouldn't let him ground and pound him. Machida picked him apart....

Well, Tito fades if he's unable to get you down to the ground and has to fight a stand up battle which he don't have. I like Tito(mexican bro) although his weakness is highlighted in stand up. It's so funny seeing a Mexican that dosen't know how to box or atleast have a chin. Being able to sling fist and take a great punch is in our latino culture.

It was hilarious watching Machida fight such a technical fight and yet the fans were getting annoyed. I thought it was a thing of beauty watching Machida just technically dominate him avoiding punches and counter striking. I think that's why boxing isn't as popular as it used to be, not many people can appreciate the technical side.

It depends on fighters style. Look at the explosive and power punching Pacman. Never is boring and is on the very top and then you have a Mayweather who uses straight boxing skill and dosen't take much chances. Big contrast for sure.

Most people just want to see blood. Honestly, back in the day, I couldn't wait for Mike Tyson to get taken apart.

Yep, and even though Machida fought a technically sound fight, the lack of entertainment won't sit well with Dana White.

just sayin'

That's what I hate about the UFC, exciting fights are good and so are technical fights. It's one thing to spend a round in someone's guard doing nothing and the way Machida fought. I loved the Machida Vs. Ortiz fight.
