In assets....basically some cars, collectibles, a few copyrights to stuff & my dick... But in human capital, I'm so rich some could probably see an aura I'm shinin so hard...
And I plan on being wealthy, although all I truly need is to live comfortably and help those around me. I have quite a few "6-figure ideas", a bunch of 7-figure ideas, and one or two that are potentially worth so much that I dont even speak of them. We're talkin a couple ideas that could push me into the upper earning ranges of the world or land me on Forbes lists. Maybe I'd tell MTS or George lol. I've got age/time on my side but I dont wanna wait to stack. I'm going at my dreams with a "no fail" attitude. If one thing doesnt work, I'll try another and another.
Why dont people realize that its not the money thats the true motivator for most entrepreneurs? Money might make the world go round but just having control of ones time is the most important thing. To wake up and completely control the allocation of your minutes and seconds is true "ballin". Bill Gates wakes up and he doesnt have to do shit unless he wants to. He can come to meetings in boxers and a wife beater (he wouldnt) if he felt like it. He's above flaunting wealth b/c when you're the worlds richest man, everyone knows it anyway, so you dont need 22" rims to shine at the crow-people. You could wear a burlap bag if that was your thing.
I personally just want to be my own boss and have time to be with my wife and kids when i eventually have them. I want to go on trips and travel the world. Comin from I'd consider a lower-middle class background I've been fairly broke all my life. I just want to end up living in a moderate-sized home that isnt extremely flashy but has every amenity i'd ever need on the inside. Hook my immediate family (small) up with houses & cars, then immediately set a trust for my future kids and grandkids. After that I'd decide which relatives & friends to help. I'd make sure I saved enough to maintain my house, handle credit issues, emergencies. Fat insurance policies on everyone and any medical shit needed by my family or I would be done. I'd customize my wardrobe, cars, and house. I heard tailor fit clothes are great so I'd have to do it up. Weight room & studio in the house.
The difference between the poor & rich isnt really the type of person or anything of that nature, its just options. Money affords more options and opportunities to try new things, to get places you previously couldnt. It allows you to help the world, but also to grease the wheels of society if need be. It cant buy happiness, but it can buy you a lot of things that make you happy. It cant buy true love or friendship, but it can help you to see the realities of people. Even people that might think I'm "money hungry" admit that earning or having more money than they currently have would be beneficial.
Being entrepreneurial is a way of thinking. You either have it or dont. Alot of people say "I'd like to be my own boss" or "owning a business would be cool" but until you're at LEAST doing some research about it, its probably best just to keep your ideas to yourself. You have to be in a position to implement your ideas and most of the time, most people are not. It's good to fantasize but serious business takes serious research. I've done it. I have a realistic & efficient way of dealing with certain financial stuff. I'm ready for the world, just not sure if its ready for me.
