who is superstitious?

Like for example, I really wouldnt cross the path of the black cat...
any of you beleive in stuff like that, all those superstitious thing that our grandparents stuffed our head with since we were children?
 
im not supertitious but the only thing i hate is when me and my girl are walking holding hands and she splits a pole or something.. i dont think we'll have bad luck but thats not cool although it is :rainbow: of me

that IS a superstition. Also - the not go under a ladder one
 
I won't walk under a ladder........and I still have a weird thing with odd numbers thanks to my Aunt who's a nun.... :rolleyes:
 
well, back home we buy even # of flowers only for the dead (when you go to visit someones grave), for the living, we buy odd # of flowers. Thats why when my husband first bought me dozen of roses, I was like: I didnt die yet...
 
I'm a little bit superstitious... I wouldn't walk under a ladder for example. But, if a black cat were to cross my path, although not preferable, I wouldn't be freaking out about it. lol.

I worked with ladders all the time. Going under them to move them around on the job. Know lots of guys who do the same, some of them for 20 years or more. They're all alive and kicking. It's a good idea to stay out from under them though I guess. I've dropped alot of shit you wouldn't want crashing down on your head from ten feet...

thats awesome...how old were u when u came here and what language do you speak..sorry i have an obcession for foreigners...lol...work with an african and some other guy from another country and all i do is ask ? all day long...its cool to hear about other places.

not walking under a ladder is just common sense...

im not supersticious but i have OCDish when it comes to reading...even if im reading to myself if i say a word wrong in my head like a hard one like "supersticious" if i read it wrong like "superficial" or something, i have to start th entire paragraph over and read it correctly the 2nd time over,

well I speak....macedonian. :) :)
I came when I was 20, thats when I got married....still feel awfull why I did it so young. Everyone thought that I dont know any english. Stuped me, I had to show off instead of playing stuped and see what is everyone gonna say about me and THEN fire up the english

My grandma told me when the clock hits 12am to freeze and not movem cause the fairys are having dinner and if I step on it, they'll be mad

20 thats a good age to come here at.....do you still speak your native language frequently? that would be awesome to teach your kids...my daughter was born in italy i want to teach her italian and english...

My older daughter talks ONLY macedonian, just now she is starting with english. Its hard though-for the kids, they get confused

i figured i would teach english first then italian...your husband american?

macedonian, but born here - yes, American...
no, teach them italian and english at the same time. If they learn english first, its gonna be harder for them to learn italian
