Who here pays for music downloads?

I just started buying music from Napster. I love this service. You can just buy single songs and they are only about $1 each. The downloads are incredibly fast too. They also have a good selection. This is much better than Kazaa. Half the time the downloads on kazaa aren't the right song or the person you're downloading from goes offline in the middle of your download. I'll gladly pay $1 per song for the convenience.

i bought a few until i realized apple only offers them in shit quality... i want 96k 24 bit wavs... is that so much to ask? dvd audio can keep up w/ bandwidth now, lets implement it

I used to use Kazaa, but they suck now. So I go with Limewire if anything at all.

I take my XM MyFi, record music for 4 hours, find the songs I want to save, hook up the MyFi to my computer using male-male adapter cable, open Adobe Audition, and make my own Mp3's.

$1 a song still comes out to $18 a cd. Just not worth it. Especially when you can get it for free. XM is pretty good about playing requests too.
