I'm option #6. Don't like people, but they like me. People love me... I don't know why. I'm not an asshole, I just don't like people. Never been a people person. Nothing triggered it. It's just my personality.

I don't have a ton of friends, but the ones I do have are quite worthy. Most are in the upper class in terms of taste, culture and success. Spread out quite far by geographic standards. Have many acquaintances, that I say hello to and interact at gym, clubs with, but not on the level that I would call them up to go hang out.

Only a select few like me as a friend, but once they do; they really like me because they can count on me. I don't let my comrades down. Most people don't like me in general, but that's the way I want it. To me, getting along with some of the people most of the time is good enough for me.

I don't consider myself necessarily popular...

When I meet that rare individual that I truely connect with, we remain friends for years and years...regardless of moves, marriages, etc.

I've had some jobs that had a pretty high profile with people (bars, clubs, etc) and there's always been a ton of people who know me...and consider me a friend...but I have a little trouble with their names...guess I'm not really much of a people person after all....
